New coil not working

Hi guys.

I have an Ego Aio sigarette. Last time I bought new coils, I got a new type. They are called QCS coils. Since I changed it, I've only been able to take two drags. All other times it's just blinking. I tried so many times to unscrew a little bit, tighten it a bit more, nothing to do. I hate it when it stops working like this.

Are these coils compatible ?

Try unscrewing the coil about one full turn. I know it doesnt make much sense, but I'm pretty sure that I heard somewhere that it lets the coil make a better connection.

If they fit they’re compatible. [note above this turns out to be crap]. Your issue may be a mis aligned positive post. The bottom peg fits in a rubber gasket and floats freely so it may be pushed in a bit too far to make contact. You can try pulling it out a little, but don’t pull it all the way out because it’s hell to get back in

If they fit they’re compatible.

No. Only the AIO PRO tubes can take coils down to 0.2ohm. The other models are limited to 0.5ohm (Source: JT tech at JT forums). The QCS has 0.25ohms = No soup for you! Same goes for the 0.25ohm Notch coil.

Maybe "QCS" stands for "Quality Control Sucks"?
