Granted. However, the rules state they can use one of their advertising threads. Isn't that in a different area? Is the statement all inclusive of the entire board or just the advertising area? This is the SI forum? Are you a mod? These are legitimate questions not meant to rile, but certainly meant for me to be able to understand.

It is my understanding as well that it is one contest in the suppliers forum only. (not in the sub forums) If I am wrong I will be happy to fix it.

I have contacted misty I am awaiting her reply... we have been running multiple contests since getting our subforum and have not heard this rule ... in addition there are several other subforums running multiple contests....but if it is indeed against the rules of course we will rectify it.

You always runs a very fair "Contest" and have never stepped out of bounds with anything you have done before or presently for ECF Members and those of "Us" who hang in "Voltville" . . .
IMO - "You" should not have been "called-out" on the open forum (And I maybe wrong - However, as ECF TOS states, this kind of thing should only be in PM form and not in the threads) . . . Nor do I believe that "You" should have to defend yourself - nor Smokelss Image for having a CONTEST to give to the ECF Community like this . . .
If anyone has a problem or feels there is something wrong - then it is their responsibility to and they should be reporting it to ECF Administration - to have them handle the situation directly . . .
This discussion - IMO - is not only uncalled for, I believe it is a kind of "Harrasment" and according to what I read in ECF TOS is totally "Inappropriate" for any member to do . . .

I made a simple comment and never intended this to turn into a lengthy discussion. Your comment is totally uncalled for and WAY out of line!!
In defense of Uncle (who does get a little emotional at times), your "simple comments" did have a tone of aggression to them (I at one point remember thinking "wow, she's like a pitbull with this thing"), and I think he was referring to this in the Supplier faqs:
