Hi all,
After being a pack a day smoker for over 25 years, I'm analog free for over a month now. vaping FTW!

Seeing my mother wither away from CHF for 7 years (Guess what caused that?) and finally die in agony, had a huge impact on me. I'd quit before a few times but never made it past the 6 month mark without going back. I've finally found something that looks like it will replace the death sticks for good.

I've made two more vaping converts from my old friends. Seeing me happily puffing away in the livingroom (Have not smoked anywhere comfortable in over 10 years) was enough for them to try it. SOLD!

I look forward to learning more about this life saver, and helping to keep it legal. Keep up the good work folks.

Cheers!
Dave

My vaping "sponsor" cut me through a lot of the crap, (tips hat to Rich) and pointed me to some good hardware, and liquid. Right now I'm puffing away on ECBlend's Dragon Blood 100%PG (24mg Nic) and like the same 50/50. The Dragon's tear flavor is great too. Waiting on my first set of 50ml bottles of that stuff. Hardware is eGo-T 1000mah battery and Smok Tech dual coil 1.5Ohm cartomizers. Being a gearhead, I'm already looking at the bigger stuff. There is WAY too much hardware to learn about. Really glad I found this forum.

Congrats man! I watched my grandmother die of lung cancer. It was a real heart breaking experience to say the least. I knew I had to quit smoking, and I tried so many things. Ecigs were the only thing that made any sort of lasting impact on my desire to smoke. I learned about a week ago that my aunt was diagnosed with COPD is is likely going to die sometime in the next few years, a very slow agonizing death. She smoked.

I'll never give another dime to the tobacco industry. I know smoking is a personal choice, but it has horrible consequences.

I smoked for 35 years and also laid them down when my first kit arrived. Right now I'm searching for unique flavors and I have bought a lot of different juices and flavorings - seems a new package arrives every day. Right now I vape cherry cola mostly and I've found I do not like any tobacco flavors that much...

I agree about the tobacco flavors. I don't care for them either. Was only putting up with that flavor to get the nicotine anyway. Now that I can get my nic with nice flavors, I'm stoked. Hope I don't get into trouble for saying this but Pink Spot juices are just unreal. I highly recommend them. Have tried 5 flavors so far (In the process of signing over my paychecks to them now) and all are just fantastic. Best thing I've tried so far. (YMMV) Ok, not trying to make this a Pink Spot advert.

Just ordered a Provari and some tanks. Looking forward to VV vaping!:vapor: Yeah, 2 weeks into it and I'm already jumping in from the deep end. Feeling great though, and have had ZERO desire for an analog. I've not been able to say that in a long long time. (whatever deity you believe in....or not) bless you guys.

Cheers!

Forkeh, Sorry to hear about your family. Your aunt needs to be dilligent about stopping the analogs (likely vaping won't be good either) and, most importantly, get into physical therapy (Breathing Training). My mother didn't, and I'm convinced that all the albuteral, combined with her lack of being able to move around easily, made things worse. I tried endlessly to teach her how to breath correctly. It never stuck though. :( (CHF)Congestive heart failure, is a direct result of (What they call it now anyway) COPD. Although the lung tissue is likely damaged beyond repair, I do believe matters can be helped that will extend her life and make the quality of it much better. COPD/CHF is no better then cancer. My heart goes out to her.
