A friend of mine that recently made the switch and purchased a V4L kit had some questions about blanks cartos, which I could not fully answer...so a little input would be appreciated.

My friend and I both recently read a thread by our favorite ground squirrel Mabbo about individually wrapped New Cool Cartos that he recently received with larger draw holes resulting in better vaping.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/123993-new-coolcarts-flavor-info.html

Is the issue of sanding down threads on regular batteries and passthroughs, still an issue with these "New Cool Cartos"?

Neither of us see any mention of them on the V4L site or any announcement of any changes or improvements, so outside of visiting Mark at V4L how does one order these "New Cool Cartos"? Do you simply request them in the comments box? Are they just randomly shipped with regular orders? Do they cost the same?

Somebody please correct if I am wrong (no worries there) but what was known as Premium Cartos are now known as Wow Cartos, nothing different, simply a name change...correct? I don't use Premium/Wow Cartos anymore, but I assume these have the 2-piece cap, vap a little hotter, and are 1/16th of inch shorter than a Cool Carto...is that correct?

This brings me to the Vapor King Cartos, are these the previous standard hard cap cartos. I'm a little confused.....can anyone clarify this for me? My friend was going to order them and asked if I had ever tried them...honestly..I wasn't sure. I have never purchased them, but I may have tried them indirectly as bonus cartos.

I would love to try/order the "New Cool Cartos". And just want to make sure I know what I am talking with Wow/Premiums and get a little clarification of the Vapor King Cartos.

Well, I can't help too much, but I can help a little. I am not sure if they work without sanding down threads, since i don't have many batteries that aren't sanded, though the one I have tried does work on one of my batteries that is not sanded.. I don't think all of the "cool cartos" are the new one yet; however, I know the ones that have come in the Sampler #1 and Black I have ordered are the new ones.. The box they come on is a little taller than the other "cool carto" boxes of other colors.

Yes, the premium cartos are now called wow cartos, but they are just one piece cap, they do not have the inner ring like the hard cap cartos had... I am not sure about the vapor king cartos, I have never ordered any of them..

Heya Dragon.

Just read your post.

To answer your questions about the new cool carts, at the time when Mark showed me them, they were only coming in the sample color packs, however, I ordered black coolcarts and they were the new ones. So I make the assumption that the switch has already started.

As for them fitting on all the batteries, I will be honest, I have never had to sand down anything for my cartos to fit my batteries, now this could be that I only use manuals, but I am not sure, I know some people have done it or needed to do it. As for the new style of cool carts fitting my existing batteries, I have had no problem on any of my batteries. I have 7 manual batteries, Xl's to shorties and the coolcarts fit like a charm on all of them. Even the new XL i just got they work just fine on.

The premium carts are now called WOW carts, it was just a name change. All of the wow carts or cool carts I have gotten (80 or so) have all had the single soft cap with no inner ring. I have not ordered any of the 7.95 vapor king blanks, becouse I use only the cool carts at this point. So I am not much help on if those are soft caps, however, I can give you a good recommend and just tell you to stick with the cool carts, they are much better, hold more juice and stay cooler.

As for the new cool carts with the larger intake holes, I think it comes down to stock at this point, i know that the 3 boxes of blacks I just ordered where all the new style. I know there is most likley going to be a lot of other stock in the other colors that will prolly be the older style, but they are still better than the wow carts in my opinion. So I would say, if you want to make sure to get the new ones, order the blacks right now, and the other colors will be a hit or miss till the whole switch is done. I ordered light blue with my blacks and they were the older style cool carts, but no complaints about them.

Hope that helps some.

Thanks for the hit back Mabbo and the inside scoop on the new CC's. I too only use them, I read that the Vapor King Cartos have a hard cap. Lower price, hard cap, I'm starting to think these are the old-school cartos that the old stock bonus cartos come with.

Which is why I think I have vaped them, but just want to be sure before I give my buddy my :2c: on whether he should get them or not. He's hitting up this current sale so I will tell him to order CC blanks in black.

You're one cool ground squirrel mabbo! :2cool:

No problem at all.

I am happy to repay the help and kindness that I have been shown since my start with vapeing. V4L is the company I started with and will not go anywhere else.

I have noticed that some of the free bees I get are the old school hard caps, but since I just try em and put them back as samples for new vapor friends of mine, it does not bother me at all besdies they are free :) . I love thier product and how they keep changing for the better.

And thank you, I might not walk very well due to my large tesicals, but I can type just fine.

i just got the sampler pack 1 of CC and they are the new ones... i only use manuals and have not needed 2 sand any of my batts down either....

The Cool Carts have always fit my manual batts, but, not my autos until I have taken them on and off my manuals a few times. Never wanted to sand the threads on my autos.....my preferred are the premium/WOW carts...I like a warmer hit.
