I would need to ensure these work with the 808 adapter for the Chameleon. The older carts from V4L do not work in the least, but the few premium carts I have left from my short tenure with them do work on the 808 adapter. The draw is somewhat tight (but smooth with good flavor) due to the one hole in thread design.

I've not ordered from this vendor so any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I use the chameleon ALL the time. I haven't found one cartomizer yet from the past year (Nhaler/V4L) that does not fit. The chameleon even runs all of my PREMIUM cartos, whereas the BB/ALTSMOKE adapter does not.

I got into carto's because I wanted something I didn't have to top off every 2 mins, like I do with the 510 carts, etc... I still have a TON of 510 and 901 atty's and still plan to use them here and there. I have supplies for every occasion! I will go easy on the carto's, topping them off seems a little less of a hassle to me so far, or at least less messy. I had a tendency to over fill my 510 carts and end up with either a flooded atty or spillage on the desk. Dripping a controlled amount into the end cap and pressing the carto down into it seems much easier to me for some reason. I also like the idea of having a few pre-filled cartos instead of dripping on the go, that can be messy too, and when I am out and about, the last thing I want to deal with is dripping. I just want plug and play when away from my desk. I have only had carto's for a day, but so far so good. I am guessing I vape them down about 1/2 way or so, then I top off, seems to be working so far. The only thing I think that would be better is a juice fed system, but I don't have the money or patience to stand in line for a juice box. I might be able to figure out my own juice fed mod some time soon, but for now carto's seem to be the happy medium.

Trying out my new V9 carto. The first thing I found out, the white cap does not want to come out easily, I mangled my first one up a little, trying to pry it up, so I decided to just leave it alone for now, and used the rubber cap to fill the empty carto. I let it sit and soak for about half an hour, then put it on my Iken laser mod, and so far, it's working great. It appears to be a couple of mm longer than the regular carto, but seems to be about the same size around. I put 20 drops in my first load, am going to vape this for a little while then top off with 10 or so drops. I am not sure what makes these new ones different from the other cartos, besides the length being slightly longer. Anyone know specifics? I probably won't break this first one open until it gets good and used up, since the cap did not want to pry up easily.

Your right. They all FIT but the old carts do not draw. The new premiums carts from V4L do work. There is a slight difference from the old carts to the new in both depth and post design with notch. For some reason the old carts do not work on my Chameleon.

Not concerned about the old cart issue on the Chameleon. It's an awesome machine and I highly recommend. The old carts will be phased out but need to know if these new ones, are well......the new ones and have the soft fill caps.

Any Answers?

Yes for some reason the manufacturer glued the white caps on, I actually completely tore apart the first one.. wire and all trying to get the cap off.

Its a slight inconvenience, but boil some water and dip just the white tip end of the carto in the boiling water for 20-40 seconds.. it will pop right out. Its a slight inconvenience but these cartos are well worth it I think.

Can't say much, but 555 premium is my must have. If you can't vape that premium 555, I don't have much use for a battery mod.

None of my other mods can vape this particular cartomizer.

Both the Chameleon and the Lazer mod work wonderfully.

Therefore, Iken has my full endorsement.

These new ones from V9 are completely new, not the same as from v4l. The flavored ones that are coming in will be pretty close to v4l. But the ones that are currently in are Ben's own design.

As far as the soft fill caps, what do you mean? if you mean the rubber clear caps that cover the carto and are used for the "condom" fill method, then yes they come with those. if you mean the soft rubber white end cap, no these are hard white plastic cap. They actually need to be boiled to break up the glue, then I scrape the glue out of the inside thats still at the opening.

I've dealt directly with Issac and will confirm the above. I'm just trying to ascertain if these carts, from this thread, are the soft end (rubber capped) newer carts that will work on the Chameleon. I'll just email them directly.

Thanks!

I've tried this method and it works great (glue removal) I've kept my white rubber end caps from other premiums that I've discarded and once I get the glue out....on goes the soft rubber tip for quick fill.

I'll wait for some feedback on the Ben's design as wife is getting peeved at the new package in the mail every day. She thinks it may be costing her the new wood floor in the living room.

Thanks for your reply and info. Much appreciated!

jamb: I had this issue on 2 of my 5 carts I got in. I think it has to do with the liquid, I found that not filling it all the way remedies this.. its literally like 2 or 3 drops less and its fine. I figure thats about how much because if I blow out a couple drops, and burn it a few times the spattering stops.

Ah, overfilling. Try the reverse Taryn spin...

Put an endcap (condom) on the battery end, but only push it on half way. Then spin it (like you would to distribute the juice) but don't spin too many times. The centrifugal force will remove the excess juice into the condom. Then you can dump it, resuse it on a different cart, whatevs. (waste not want not :D)

If you're not familiar with the Taryn Spin, here ya go...

I was actually looking at the origional post for the Taryn spin today actually and think just using the regular taryn spin on the cartos would do just fine. I am thinking the problem comes from the new V9 and other companies premium cartos have forgone the rubber O-ring inside. From what I understand this O-ring has a small enough hole that it catches the majority of spit back juice from over filling, or over absorbed filler. So my hypothesis is that the juice at the very end of the filling is heating up and when it pops it comes flying out(I know real technical) but this is my observation, especially since it doesnt happen when I put a 901 tip on the carto.

So anyway, by using the Taryn spin the normal way you would be forcing the juice down into the filler (hence why you get more juice with this method) but since these hold so much liquid without the Taryn spin, I would just use it to prevent spit back of hot juice. I will try this tomorrow when my package hopefully arrives. I will test one brand new out of the box carto with the taryn spin, and another without. Filling the same amount, and report back.

*Side note, becareful late at night filling cartos and then touching your eye, I just rubbed my eye from being tired and got a small amount of menthol ejuice on my finger, my eye is minty fresh feeling now.

Personally I find that underfilling is much more of an issue than overfilling.

I use the Taryn spin with a little jig I made. I cut about half the ring finger off of a cheap pair of leather gloves. Poked a small hole near the cut end and ran a single strand of heavy speaker wire through it and left it about 14" long. A piece of sturdy string would work as well, I just didn't have any at hand.

This lets me REALLY spin the cart to force the liquid down where it's needed. It's amazing how much liquid these things will hold this way. I just leave the carto in the sleeve, add more liquid and spin again until I'm sure the carto won't take anymore.

Also, I just toss out the white mouthpiece and pop on a drip tip (a cut down 901 cart works also.) This makes it easy to add drops, spin and go right back to vaping.

Also keeps the lips cool and eliminates liquid in the mouth. Yuck.

I use KR808s, Premium, and 510 cartos - all at 5v - so keeping them soaked in liquid is crucial.
