Today I received my doge V2 in the mail and took it up to the vape shop.. I asked for a single coil build at about .8 or 1 ohm and he went to the back and made be a dual coil .7 ohm. I wanted to run lower wattage but don't think that's in the cards with this build being dual coil. Tried to fire at 18 watts and nothing it's firing good at about 37. I know it's subjective but what wattage would y'all run this at? Thanks!

Well usually dual coil attys, have two airholes thats probably why he did it.

Now if you can close off one airhole you can simply take one coil out and it should run great at 15-17 watts.

I would say 37 is about righy for that build. There is no perfect setting, whatever something runs good at will be the good setting.

Why are you so high on watts, you like hotter vape.
on

Yeah, I tend to run the Doge on the hotter side because it has so much airflow. That said, I don't use it all that often...it depends on my mood.

My go to RDA has been the Tugboat v2, which I usually run with a dual coil .6Ω at around 31.5W (4.4V) which gives me a warmish but still really smooth vape.

Thanks for all the good info guys.. Yeah I should have denied it but I was in a real time crunch. I'm gonna build my own next weekend for the first time so my fingers are crossed. I just bought this to practice on and see if I like the RDA side or just stick with the tanks. If i get into it like I think I might then I'll drop the coin on the Tugboat V2 I've really really been eyeing. Thanks again
