My guess is that they offer quality generics that they can find in bulk and sell cheap, still making a profit, since electronics isn't really TV's specialty.

Probably so, but it is no harder to order those. Do the majority of TV customers really still use regular cartos?

Ya know, from the feedback we get, yes the majority of our customers use cartos without tanks. And to tell you the truth we have not had a lot of requests for punched and/or flanged cartos. But we do listen, and if we get enough people asking for them...anything is possible

If you guys ever offered slotted/punched cartos I would be in. I usually use my REO so I just give them a good squonk every now and then. I guess for now if I ever wanted to try the tank route, I would invest in a saddle valve.
