I got one in, dual charger for 4.8 NiMH batteries, a few weeks ago, and started using it last night. I LOVE IT!!!!! 400 and 600 mAh batteries come off charger at ~5.6x (newish batteries) and, yes, the light turns green the moment they reach full charge. I haven't tested it yet for if it won't over charge if battery is left on for hours after light turns green but will do so today.

I have three of the single battery chargers. It was so much hassle to keep up with charging batteries, on the single charger, where you have to leave the battery charging 4-5 hours after light turns green (some of the chargers never turned green) I stopped doing the 4.8 volt batteries because it was just too much hassle.

4.8 volt vaping, here I come again!! I've missed you.

Hugs, Alice

I'm gonna have to wait till January (have a lot of expenses coming up this month), but then I'm in for one. I have two different kinds of single-bay chargers for the 4.8's and since I have six in rotation, I'll be able to charge with reckless abandon and not be a nightly slave to the batteries!

I had a couple 4.8v charging on the new duel charger today for about an hour but had to leave and didn't want to leave it charging while I was gone so I unplugged it and checked the voltage. It was at 5.5v. I figured that was charged enough so I didn't put it back on the charger when I got home. My question is, if I had plugged the charger back in when I got home, would it have charged to 5.6v and shut off or would it reset and start the charge cycle all over again thus over charging my batteries? You seem to be the battery expert around here so can you answer this one? :)
