New Dual Coil Tanks from SmokTech

The NEW Dual Coil tank Assembly (DCT) from SmokTech.
This unit includes the 1.5 oHm Dual Coil Cartomizer and holds 6ml of E-juice.
I have not personally tested these yet but it is claimed no leaks, no burnt taste, perfect vape for 3.7V up 7.2V devices.
Includes drip tip (not shown)

Yes, calculating my cost, shipping, etc.
I have not seen them yet, but it seems like the right price (by calculations)
Just because it's a cool concept and others cost much more does not mean I'm going to price them at 20-25 bucks.

The DCT will come with one, but I won't have them seperate...yet.

I've contacted smoktech and they've sent me some more images. Apparently this tank uses a special dual coil carto:


any information on how much new DCs for this tank will be? $13 for tank and DC sounds great - but how much will spare DCs be?

Ha. Someone hasn't bought an ego T atomizer. That's a mistake you only make once. Good to know they are replaceable.

I would be interested in this if a) the cost of carts isn't ridiculous, and b) something other than a LR cart is offered. Something in the 2-3 ohm range would be better for those of us with the Provari.

The cost of the carts should be the same as regular DC carts, 10 bucks a 5 pack?
The coils are said to be 1.5 oHm EACH, so that makes the combined coils different.
I just used my (cheap) DVOM to check a regular DC cart and it says 2.6 oHm.
I use the DC cartos on my 6V Copper all the time and NEVER get a burnt taste.

1.5 each? I'm confused, normally they're twice the resistance so a 1.5 dual coil has two 3.0 ohm coils, running them in parallel cuts the resistance in half. It also seems like your DC carto is metering a little on the high side.

Just checked this used one (with juice in it) with a different meter and it reads 2.1 oHm.
I CAN say they are directly from Smoktech.

I wonder if they're using the 2.0 ohm version of their carto for this (though that means it should have dual 4 ohm coils). I've got my pre-order in, so I'll see soon enough Also looking forward to seeing how many of my bottles fit those nifty needle caps.

punched AND with this interesting base plate which looks like an additional leaking protection. Not sure how much this is necessary as it seems to not be needed while dripping. I've received this image from smoktech as a dripping instruction

I'm wondering if that flange (I call everything that sticks out a flange) is integral to the operation of the tank. DCs work fine and all, but it'd be nice to have the ability to swap in different cartos.
