I was typing on my touchscreen smartphone and for seemingly no explainable reason my messages kept sending without me pressing the send button. It was getting pretty frustrating until I realized my 510 was actually pressing the send button. So I started messing around with using the 510 as a stylus and it works. The LED tip doesn't work, because its not made of metal, so its not electrically charged, but the walls of the battery at the tip of my 510 do work. So when I've got gloves on outside in the cold weather, I can always use my e-cig as a stylus I guess. :p

I would think its pretty safe? They make gloves where they put metal shavings in the fingertips so that the gloves conduct your skin's electrical current and allow you to use the touch screens. So I don't see why this is any different. The metal of the 510 battery is either conduction electricity from the battery, or the entire 510 is charged by my skin? I'm not really sure, but it can't be all that dangerous right? I mean I have never seen a discussion on ECF stating that using your cell phone with your e-cig in your hand is dangerous.

It's probably not dangerous, i was just playing devil's advocate by wondering....the metal shavings in the gloves for touchscreens do not have a battery though. My thought was wondering if those two batteries coming in contact would create any type of issue (the phone batt and ecig batt).

c.chalie, you have to kind of use the side of the end of the battery. You cant use the plastic tip that the LED uses, or the atomizer. It is kind-of awkward but you get the hang of it. You use the tip of the battery, but the side of the battery.

tried that..

i have to hold it flat on the screen....PASS lol
