New ego 18650 mod

Well I got my new ego 18650 mod today charged the battery everything is working great using ego stardusts. But when I put a lr joyetech branded atty on to drip the button flashes three times and then does nothing. Put a stardust back on everything works perfect. Put the atty on my 1100 mah pass through and it works fine. The mod is showing 3.47 volts and the battery reads 4.09. Both the mod the 1100 pass through and the lr atty are joyetech branded. So what am I doing wrong?

Just an update now it's doing it with my stardusts
If I fire it with nothing on the battery it doesn't flash

Usually the three flashes is a protective thing - too much wattage. I'd check the ohms on the lr atty. It might be below 1.5Ω. If not then I don't know - I vape 1.5Ω attys on Joye PT's running 4.2v.

The PCB on the device doesn't want to play. As Kent mentioned you are drawing too much current and the board is going into self-protect (survivor) mode do not fight it.

The problem is it was working fine with the ego stardust then just quit. Now everything I put on it it won't work. I checks the ohms on the stardust and it was 2.7. I have tried three of them two full and one empty. So I don't know what it is

My guess is the LR may have fried the mosfet or damaged it and now the circuitry is kaput.

A good mod shouldn't let you use too low a resistance cartomizer or even an atomizer that draws too much current . Did you try removing the battery then putting it back in to try and reset it if that is possible ?
