Best advice is to only buy the "samplers" right now.
You'll taste bud will be faking you out for at least 4-6 weeks.
It will be that long before you can start to taste the "real" flavors
So, what you like now, you may hate in a month and vise versa.
Also, most of the juices you buy will have to steep a while.
The fruits are about the only ones that taste good mixed "fresh"
You'll find it a lot cheaper (plus more variety) in the long run to get samplers, until you settle on a few you like.
My first real love, (like yummy, yummy) was Caramel Popcorn from Tasty Vapors, but I'm not sure they have it in samplers.
Some web sites don't offer samplers, but enough do to ruin your budget !
Have fun .........

I agree about using samplers until you find a vendor and flavors that you like. You don't want to be wasting too much money on larger sized bottles of juice that you don't care for. Once you find a sampler flavor you like, order more in a larger size.

A couple of vendors that I purchase from on a regular basis offer samplers:

Virgin Vapor: Organically Flavored E-liquid | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

No samplers, but they do have smaller sized bottles for a reasonable price: https://natural-eliquid.com/store/index.php

Most custom-made vendors offer a choice in the PG/VG ratio; I recommend going with a basic 50/50 ratio initially.

for starters, i'd highly recommend something like an ego twist or a vision spinner; both are simple, let you try out VV, and can be had for about $20-30.

as far as juice, don't try to find one that tastes just like your favorite cigarette, because you probably won't find one. i personally started out with a lot of stronger fruit and citrus flavors, but now that i've gotten my senses of taste and smell back, i've found a much wider variety of flavors enjoyable.

Hi Will! I'm also new to the forums - I was a Marlboro Red smoker (a pack and a half a day, or more) for 17 -18 years and smoked my last analog a couple of nights ago. I was the type of smoker who never stopped smoking - even if I was sick, I couldn't make myself not smoke and I LOVED my analogs! I'm amazed that it worked!

I ordered my first kit from MyFreedomSmokes and added some 4 star general and English toffee liquid to my cart - I've found that a mixture of the two has been very satisfying for me. I also got some blueberry cheesecake and sweet cream from them and they all seem pretty good to me (I haven't had any juice from other vendors so my frame of reference is non-existent) - of course, taste is very subjective and YMMV.

Congrats on making the move to e-cigs and welcome to the forums! I have found them to be an invaluable resource so far.

ECBlends and Mt Baker Vapor are two of the most affordable places to buy liquid. They have a ton of flavors to choose from. I also recommend smaller samples in the beginning until you figure out what types you like. When I first started vaping I loved anything fruity or sweet, while staying away from tobacco liquid. After only a month I find that I enjoy the tobacco much more than I did initially.

A few other popular liquid vendors talked about a lot on the boards:
-Backwoods Brew Vapor
-Heathers Heavenly Vapes
-Pink Spot
-Halo
-Ahlusion
-Fuzion
-Johnson Creek

Obviously, there are a TON of other options, but you will find that out soon enough. ;)

Good luck to you and welcome to the boards.

Another one for mt baker vapor. Just tried some of their juice for the first time last week and love it. Definitely try some samplers of juice to start, and try as many different things as you can. I started with just a plain menthol juice because I was convinced that I wouldn't like anything else, "who wants to smoke a blueberry?"

My favorites now are strong fruity and/or mint flavors.

Other things to try is an ego vv (twist, spinner, etc.) and different tanks. I like all of the different tank options out there and use them all but many people have a preference.

E-cigs can be as simple or as complicated as you want them to be. I like to tinker and build so I have a few mods and rebuildable atomizers, but use my ego's and cig-a-likes probably just as much.

I'm also new to the forum and newish to the whole vaping thing. I also started with a cheap ecig that you could get from gas stations and that didn't cut it for me either. My husband and I started vaping roughly 2 months ago and I have learned a couple things. Although we have not ordered any juices online because we have a place that we go to there are a few flavors that we have both tried and liked. A piece of advice that we got from Denton Vape Shop, where we go, is to not try to match your preferred cigarette flavor, because that will not help you quit and also change up flavors so that you don't get "bored" with the same flavor. The first "off" flavor that we tried was Chocolate Mint which was identical to a Thin Mint cookie, this was good for the first bottle, but then we tried Pina Colada which I am still vaping at this time. My husband recently got Cinnamon Hot Stuff which tastes a lot like Big Red gum and is really tasty. I have noticed that after your first bottle, you do seem to get used to the taste so I would suggest changing it up. I wish you the best of luck and welcome to the forum.

Hi Will and fellow vaper's. depending on your location, AND access to vape-shops, MY recomendation is..its worth it, even an hour drive, to go TRY some various flavors at a shop. MOST vape shops have a sample bar. You can get a better idea of which flavs best suite YOUR taste budds. Then buy a SMALL bottle of thiers, and research online (like in here) to find who offers the BEST coffee, mocha, fruits..w/e it is that fancies you. Then, look for coupons online for the recomended vendors and ease into it..if you over buy (like I did), you'll have 20+ bttls of CONFUSION!...now I need 20+ tanks to keep the flavors seperate :-//
Thats MY 10 cents, and Im "stickin" to it...pun intended ;D
