• Need help from former MFS (MyFreedomSmokes) customers

Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Hey y'all! I discovered this forum a few days ago, and then today bought my first kit. I bought the Ego 650 and walked out vaping. Was great in the car on the way home, but when I got home it didn't work and the button would flash blue when I pressed it. I figured the battery needed charging so I plugged it in. It's been about five hours, and the light on the charger is still alternating between green and red (assuming it will stay green when it's charged?). How long should it take to fully charge? I also have unplugged it and tried to smoke only to get the same result... I guess I hoped I could use it before the battery was completely full LoL Am I on the right track with this?

Thanks for the help!

In my experience with the eGos that I've bought, the light on the charger will stay green when it's fully charged. However I have found that when the charger LED alternates between red and green, the battery is pretty close to full. My eGo batteries never took much longer than about 2 hours to charge, but I also charged them up BEFORE they got down too low. If it's genuinely an eGo batt, then the firing button LED should be blue when it has less than 50% charge remaining. Above that, the firing button LED should light up white.

I hope that helps! Keep vapin', and keep Austin weird.

Most ego styled batteries need to be charged until the light is off or steady depending at the site you got it. Trying getting a pass-thru ego. Its usb charge and you can vape while charging. And also flashing could mean that it is fully charged or what fattty says mean the connection is faulty. But usually fully charged would show a steady light or off. I hope i was helpful.

So I feel like an idiot. I took it back to the store and I didn't have the battery screwed on tight enough. In my defense, she originally told me to not screw it on too tight to allow for air flow.

So it works now, and I love it. Thank you all for your replies!

Nope sorry can't agree. There are no idiots around here. Just beginners that need a little help. :)

So glad it worked out for you!

It wasn't working because I didn't have it put together right, not because it wasn't charged. Theoretically though, after five hours, shouldn't the charger light have been steady green?

That kinda depends I have had mine take that long if I was charging off the USB port on my computer. When plugged into the wall 1-2 hours is more usual.
