This lithium battery issue has really began to create a lot of problems for us airline personell! We are now required to make announcements in the cabin (At my carrier anyway) with regards to lithium battery safety... lol

The major culprit that is causing problems here is the larger laptop batteries. After seeing some videos of the fires that those puppies can produce, Im not sure IM thrilled about them in the cabin on long International Flights.

The industry is changing my friends, and rapidly... be on the watch for a whole new slew of FAA regs in the beginning of the new year!

Safe Travels as always,
RIA

I had this tucked into my carry-on bag. It was originally a travel humidor that I received it as a gift for helping with a friend's wedding. Come to think of it, it's the coolest carrying case of any kind that I own. Just have to make sure the eGo/Riva batts are turned so nothing hits the button. It might seem like a bit of overkill for a 10 day trip, but better safe than sorry. Not pictured: 510 PCC kit and another 510 in a carry case...since someone's always asking to try it, it's nice to keep extras on hand.

Ah! The answer to the question I've been asking myself - how am I gonna carry these things and keep them organized? And they make so very many travel humidors, in all shapes, sizes and colors. Excellent - thank you!
