Hi all,

I'm a brand spanking new addition to E-Cigarette-Forum Corp. I've been advised that the members here are the 'crème de la crème' of the vaping community - Looking forward to meeting y'all!

So - How did I find my way here? Well, the story so far is that I decided to quit on the 7th of June this year in favor of the 'Odyssey' e-cigarette from Totally Wicked over here in the UK. Since that time, I've experimented with various '510 carto's, smokymizer's and dual coil tank combinations driven by the Tornado MEGA eGo-C variable voltage battery but have never really ventured to other suppliers - Until now...

I'm currently stuck making the somewhat difficult choice between the ProVari, Buzz Pro, LavaDude or SVR battery-models to take my variable voltage vaping to another level - Any advice, experiences or recommendations would be welcomed!

Look forward to hearing from y'all.

Hello & welcome Sin :)

I'm also in the UK & we are so lucky to have many fantastic e-cig & e-liquid suppliers. List of many of the good ones -

ALL ABOUT E-CIGARETTES UK - E-cigarette & E-liquid Vendors List.

I don't have a Provari myself as I'm more than happy with my GGTS, but if you have the money to go for a Provari then go for it. Lately been hearing excellent feedback about this Provari UK supplier -

Hey Chrissie,

I'm feeling the love already, so thank you for your welcome...I'm glad to be here.

Thanks for the Vendors list!! That's quite a selection *gulp*

Was in the Bristol area a couple weekends ago and ventured into the Trowbridge 'Totally Wicked' store - baring in mind that 'Trowbo' is a good hour's cross-country drive from Bristol - only to find that it had barely been open for a week and I seemingly knew more about the products on sale than the dude running it ! Still, good adventure.

The GGTS? That's another one I can add to my list that, up until today, I had no idea about. Quite an impressive beast by the look of it, I'll do a bit of research.

I was 99% certain that the ProVari was the one for me, until I happened across this video comparing it to the Buzz Pro. This left definite doubt in my mind...

Just as a heads up for peeps who may not have heard of the 'LavaDude / LavaTube' or 'SVR' - Here they both are:

LavaDude / LavaTube 3.0 Kit - Black:

VV 'LavaDude' 3.0 Kit

SVR, who's successor is now The Akston SL:

Here's reviews on both the LavaDude and The Akston SL with one of my favourite reviewers - GrimmGreen:

This neatly brings me to my 5th post. Oh yeeah!

Okay, update...

Either the guys over at 'Vapedudes.com' have their wires crossed, or their selling a variant / mod of the 'Lavatube' named the 'LavaDude'. Hmm, confusing. Anyways, for the time being I've ruled out getting a 'ProVari' as it's that little bit 'too' expensive for me at the moment, and have also put 'The Akston SL' on the back burner as I want something where I can actually control the voltage in .1 increments. So, I may have to go with the 'Lavatube Chrome'.

Hi All,

Just thought I'd give y'all an update - Finally decided on the 'L-Rider Lavatube 4.0' from iVapour-elixir. The spec's seemed pretty impressive with the '3.5A' maximum continuous output, in comparison to a '2.5A' max-output from the majority of the other 'semi-official' models.

I'm still interested in purchasing the Young June version in time, as it boasts a '4.0A' max output, works on pulse width modulation in comparison to continuous voltage and has a couple of small differences (some better) than the L-Rider.

Pretty impressed with the performance thus far from test-vaping away on an LR 1.6 Ohm Dual Carto at 5.8 V's. Although I'm eagerly awaiting my order from Liberty-Flights to arrive with assorted IKV LR and HV Atomizers / Drip-o-mizers / Carto's :vapor:

However, one slight issue I've noticed with the Tube' is that the spring-loaded, depressible pin that sits in the center of the cone isn't centralised. Bit on the wonky side actually, straight outta' the box.

E-mailed customer service this evening, so will update as to how I get on.
