I'm lurking this forum since a long time, never posted, now I need to because I need answers to my questions at other threads...
I'm a dumb concerning electricity, electronics and wanted to know how I can check if the Stainless steel used in the "donut" is non conductive after having burned it and all...
I'm a 2 year vaper, I could quit smocking easily but now I'd like to mod my PV's

Not even sure what you mean by donut.

Yes if it was burned redhot several times and cooled after each time then finally adding a little juice to it and burning that as well helps to season it . I use a stainless mesh 400 type screen rolled up and burn it so it does not short in the scubagen V3.

This is what I made, burned it to red than put in cool water 3 times but I'd like to check if it's really become non conductive and this I don't know how to make. I took a multimeter and a battery, I put the mesh on the negative of batt and see it's totally conductive, 3.4V just like without placing the mesh inbetween. So it's still conductive, imo, but I'm not sure it's the way to check..
