Hi Imeo, I have just tried the locking buttons from my GGSS and new style Brass GG Slim and they both fit and let me fit protected batteries in my original Slim. I know you are worried that the thread pitch won't match because the original Slims were machined with a different process. I must be lucky and have one with the threads at nominal pitch. If I PayPal you €15 please can you send me a new style switch. If yes PM me with your PayPal details. Daz

My Beloved GG Slim which I adore BUT does NOT adore me sadly!

Need some help with new GG Slim... This may be the first time i asked for help but for some odd reason my new GG Slim is firing up without pressing the button. When i put the battery in and screw in the top it fires up automatic. Seems like the spring is too long or something... I was thinking of cutting the spring down a bit but not sure of any other way around it. Any help would be appriciated~!

Keon, its not the spring on the atomizer cap, its the spring inside the button. Maybe it is a bad one or short. So unthread the front cap (front cap is the button) and get the button apart. Strech the spring and assemble it again. It will work exactly as you want

Keon, As Imeo said, you might want to buy a spare spring or two from Rob as well or indeed the magnets instead - check with Imeo that they will work on the slim first though.

The size is a little more longer than the first version, as you can see from the pictures, compared to a cigarette, but the new switch is superb.

I am waiting that the batteries are charged, to try it for the first time with the I3 attys.

I did a comparison of the old slim with an analog but I couldn't get my hands on any analogs when I did the new slim photos...........
