new GG's and quality control

I have a tank that broke on the bottom (replaced by Imeo), now I have a tank that have threading that makes the top cap ring not snug. The threading in general on the new GG's and the AVS is not as I had hoped for. The overall quality, in comparison with the older GG's has not improved. I find the aluminium light and very thin, yes that is fine for looks and weight, but not strong (easy to scratch) and not very precise and sturdy. Is the new GG line made in China???

tbh i like my ggts+afsV2 and carto, more than the new ggts/avs combo, it's heavier, it's manly, and it's way less scratched even tho it's 4 months older.
