I quit on the 25th too! I feel great but I don't like how good supplies are hard to come by, even in NYC. Keep it up.

Hello everyone :) I'm new here and very new to vaping (started on the 25 of january).
I'm looking forward to learning new things and meeting new people!
about me: I'm 36, french, been a smoker for 15 years, and i immediately quit cigarettes when I took up vaping. With one glitch: i started on the "rechargeable/cartomizer-thingy" e-cigs that they sell in my tobacco shop (only one in the village), and after I vaped all of the guy's supplies (he was NOT prepared), he ran out and hadn't ordered anything else, and I had to smoke for a day. then my ego-C came in the mail (I was better prepared than my tobacco shop guy lol) . Haven't smoked since, thankfully because that last time I felt the difference.... heavy breathing, burning lungs, gross gross gross taste ew. Even a headache...
Anyway I'm rambling, I tend to do that, sorry.
See you all soon :)

Welcome and congratulations!!

I found the same problem travelling through France and living in Germany... It's like it's still some kind of taboo, underground secret lol

I tried smoking a real cigarette after switching as well, just to see... I managed a couple of puffs and had to put it out. It tasted so disgusting... Yuk!

Thanks everyone :)
Aymoon, aren't cigarettes horrible? I can't believe how easy it is to let go of such a powerful habit when you have e-cigs , I thought i loved the taste of cigarettes before, turns out i only loved the nicotine..... When I smoked I had this "Is an aneurysm going to kill me today, or is it going to be an stroke tomorrow, who knows, maybe cancer next year....." like an constant feeling of impending doom.... So happy to be rid of that "im dying" idea constantly in the back of my mind, pfew.....

Totally! I used to actually say to people that i enjoy the taste of cigarettes. Now i can't stand the smell of them, and i feel sorry for people who still smoke. I'd never push vaping on anyone, so i just vape away and enjoy it, and most smokers i've met are intrigued and ask me all about it, so i let them know the score and leave it up to them.

Hmmm, no more smelly clothes, no more worrying about my breath, no more ash and butts messing up my home / car / whatever... It's a no brainer!!!

And it's nice not having to worry about your health so much, as you said.

Let the good times roll :D

lol i remember after the first time when i first switched back away from e ciggs it was just a terrible taste but my e cigg was a weak one before i knew about variable wattage and yesterday after 1 day of being off cancer analog sticks i decided to try another just to see the difference that one day can do and amazingly i was completely repulsed by the taste of my all time favorite brand camel wide and now i prefer the knock off liquid of my brand called kamel i normally smoke camel wides its amazing at what just 1 day of vaping can do for you isnt it
