SBS is fine to shorten to. I made this screen name my freshman year in college after I received my bad mid semester grades, "Should Be Studying." I am excited, but not sure If I want to win. I want a chance to win the "big prize." I am trying to start this hobby for as cheap as possible, since my fiance thinks it would be a waste of money. If I win everything, I could pay it forward.

I currently have a "inLife Prestige" that my uncle gave me about 5 years ago. He gave it to me the month after I quit cold turkey. I have never really tried it, so everything is basically brand new. I have a ton of cartridges that are probably bad. Guess I should throw them out.

Could I drip into the prestige?

SBS it is,

As soon as you said bad mid semester grades, I figured it out. I love to PIF, when I can!!! I kinda need these, so if I win them, I'll use them. I only have one Vivi Nova, and would love to have a Rebuildable as a spare.

OK, those Cartridges (Cartos) can be refilled... at least, most of them can be. There's usually a little end cap that can be popped out, with a straightened Paper Clip or something, and then drip juice in until it looks saturated. They can be refilled for quite a while, or at least, the good ones can be.

I'll look up your inLife Prestige and get back to you.

VG, I have unopened high nic cartridge things I never used since I quite. I assume they are "expired" since they are five+ years old. They aren't flavored either. inLife was some MLM e-cig program my uncle was involved with.

Could I drip into the prestige?

SBS,

I would have to say, Yes, kinda... those are Cartomizers, too, and they have a fibrous material inside, so they can be refilled.

As this Video shows the parts, spinning, you can see inside the Carto. Just pop it off, drip more Juice in until it's saturated, and use it until the Atomizer quits working. You can also clean them out, which is needed on occasion. There are several methods for this, but since I don't have that one in my hand, I can't tell you exactly how to do it.

One way is to Boil them, but don't use a long, hard boil, because you don't want to melt it or distort the shape. Or, the best way is just use really hot water and push it through several times with a syringe. I do this for my Cartos by removing the needle, and mounting the Carto (end cap removed) onto the syringe body, and suck up hot water, push it out, repeat a few times, and let it dry really good. This will extend the life of any Carto.

If you have the whole Kit, the Batteries are rechargeable, if they haven't gone bad after all this time.
Good Luck!!! :toast:

I would think, since they are Packaged (sealed) that they are probably still good... nothing really to Expire... It's a PG/VG Liquid and Nicotine. Your biggest concern about the Prestige will be the Batteries, but the Cartos are probably fine.

SBS,

It looks like my syringe cleaning method won't work on those Prestige Cartos, because they are not Round at the fiber end. The regular gasoline-station e-cigs have fully round Cartos. But I'm sure you can figure something out. Maybe you can cut a syringe, and stick the whole thing inside to make a seal.

I'll have to find people that like the inlife products, I can give them these high nic cartridges.

SBS,

If you're giving it away, then maybe test the Batteries first. You could charge them and see if they still work. A Lithium-Ion Battery will go bad over time, if the Charge gets too low, and they will self-discharge slowly.

High Nic is usually only 16-18mg nic. What are you using now?

I bet the high nic in those is/was 24....but after this long, it's not 24mg. Not sure of the degradation rate, but that is the main reason for an expiration date.....Nic, like all other chemicals and drugs, has a half-life....just not certain what it's half-life is.

You learn something every day, if you pay attention.

I never thought about a half-life. Good Go, Keela!!! :)
