It's called ARAK; imported from Lebanon. It is 100 proof distilled from grapes and anise seed. It is definitely a different buzz than your normal liquor, and if I drink too much before bed it gives me crazy dreams.

Anthony Bourdain did an episode in Lebanon, and over there it's like moon shine; they sell it on the street in plastic bags. He said it made him hallucinate!
