I have not had anything but the best of the best vapes with my new ego-t..... Big vapor... hits everytime... only things is i dont get the throat hit that i get off my xl or 510... weird.... love it regardless!

After almost a year of vaping, I've actually come to find a strong TH to be unpleasant - I guess that I'm really not a smoker anymore, LOL

Love my Ego-T the only problem was the little piece that pushes into the tank blocked the atty if put on backwards.Like after a second filling of it.. It drains from the bottom but if you look there's one way it faces. The piece has to be on the backside. Maybe this is why others are thinking they are clogged. Just a thought. After i figured that out (first 2 hours) its been awesome.

I don't quite understand this description. Does the tank have to be put into the atomizer in a very specific way?

Yes, exactly. I didn't know how to describe it but I watched a video and they said to line up the flat sides with the flat sides.

Also double check to see if the hole is completely punctured.

Thank you, Swedishfish!!!! It DOES make a big difference in the whole experience!! My husband and I have watched so many videos on the eGo-T, and did not come across anything that spoke about lining the tank up specifically.

BTW, it took me a minute to pull together the words to describe what my eyes were seeing! :D

The hole on my tank is definitely completely punctured. I've refilled it twice already!

I'm not happy with mine. One atomizer tastes like burning, the other tastes like nothing. I feel like I have tried every trick I've read and nothing has helped. I've cleaned them many different ways, primed them, pushed down the wick, talked nicely to them, rotated the tank and nothing seems to help.

I'm sorry you're not having the greatest experience. I'm on my 3rd tank refill on my original tank that I filled today (I just got my eGo-T today). The flavor of my juice is finally coming out. How long did you use the atomizer that tastes like it is burning?

I'd be talking to mine very nicely, too, if it wasn't behaving!!

One thing I didn't see mentioned here, so I will mention. It may answer a lot of your questions.

There are two versions of the Joye eGo-T Atomizer.

Version 1 has a blunt "needle" inside.

Version 2 has a sharp "needle" inside, which is slightly wider than the original.

I've heard people complain about the Version 1 model, but very few complaints about the Version 2.

Everyone who is having issues should look inside their atty, and see which one they have.

If you would like to buy Version 2 atties, I can confirm that all the ones coming from Cignot.com are the Version 2 unit.

Then I'll add to the complaints about V2 atties. The needle in mine is pointed (not really sure about sharp), and without pictures to compare v1 to v2 I couldn't tell you which ones mine are. What I can say is that I got mine from CigNot a week and a half or so ago and have been pretty disappointed. One atty tastes like burning and has a tough draw. I tried cleaning it using distilled water and letting it sit, but it's still just as bad if not worse. This one also tends to leak juice all over the tank (when I pull a tank and wipe it off, it's all covered in juice and not just condensation). The other atty has a good draw and produces a lot of vapor but there's almost 0 flavor. The vapor tastes mostly like plastic (not burning, just ... plasticy) with barely a hint of actual flavor. I blew the primer out of both atties, make sure I line the tank up with the gaps in the needle plate, tried poking the wick slightly, make sure to leave an air gap at the top of the tank when filling, etc -- basically all of the tips and tricks, and nothing really helps.

Maybe I got the last of the v1 atties. Maybe I'm just unlucky. Maybe my atties are actually working correctly and I had the wrong expectations. I dunno. All I know is that I'm not messing with it anymore. I'll try it again when there are v3 atties and/or a new tank design.

Odd... Mine comes from Cignot as well, and from your description, you definitely have the V2 atties. From your post, you seem to have done everything right, I'd email Vicky at cignot, and see if she'd replace them under warranty (The atties are warrantied for 30 days), as they are obviously not working properly. You should get a solid, flavorful vape from the eGo-T, with no burning tastes or plastic tastes.

*Some* juices come through mine a little more "muted" than others when it comes to flavor, but most of mine have been perfect.

EDIT: I didn't see in your post if you mentioned if you had forced the tanks all the way down into the atties, when properly seated, there should be absolutely no gap between the cone and the tank, not even a millimeter. You should also hear a nice "click" when inserting the tanks.

Weird.. my tank works great..lots of flavor and vapor..
I did however loose ANY and ALL taste last night no matter what juice I was trying out. Searching through the forum I attributed it to my taste buds. I sort of chain vape and guess my taste buds were numb last night.. LOL... Everything is fine today and I can taste all flavors again.

Same as poster above said.. Make sure it's all the way in.. At first I didn't push the tank cartridge all the way in, and the taste was very burny.

Another note I don't think I saw mentioned is what kind of juice the people experiencing problems are using....

The eGo-T is very finicky when it comes to Juice... You should not be using more than a 20% VG Juice in them unless it's diluted with Distilled Water as well. They also seem to have problems with Dark-colored juices, and many people who have been using them since their release say your juices should be Clear, or close to it.

Good point. I hadn't contacted CigNot because I figured this was just a failure in the design of the eGo-T and not something they did wrong.

As for fully seating the tank, yep I did that. Pushed it on until it clicked. Twisted it a couple of times to make sure it fully punctured. Even tried to align the tank such that the flap created by the puncture was on the "tall" side of the needle so it wouldn't prevent juice from hitting the wick in any way. About the only thing I didn't do "right" was pre-puncture the tanks. I used them like the design is technically supposed to be used -- fill the tank with an unbroken cap, and then "pop" the cap using the needle. I've seen posts suggesting that you pre-puncture the cap so that you don't risk shoving the wick up the atty due to the pressure change caused when puncturing the cap, but if that's enough to break an atty then I'm not sure I want to use this at all.

Also, I've been refilling by popping the caps off and dripping into the reservoir rather than filling through the hole. None of my tanks have leaked from the cap, so I'm not worried about that.

Edit: Just to be super clear, my tanks are the clear-with-black-tip kind, and when they're installed in the atty I see no clear plastic at all. Which I assume means they're seated correctly.

We ordered ours specifically from Cignot BECAUSE they had V2. We wanted to have the most up-to-date safety switch on the batteries...
