After smoking analogs for the last 14 years I decided to quit. One day I walked into a Walgreens and bought a pack of Marlboro 72's and got a coupon for $1 off a Blu disposable ecig, I decided to do some research on it and went to their website and the concept of an ecig looked interesting. Eventually I ended up buying the disposable ecig and thought to myself this isn't so bad. So I was at a point where I can see myself quitting analogs with ecigs. I was to the point where I almost bought a Blu started kit but they were pricey, plus I didn't know there were a lot of different companies out there. After more research and eventually finding this forum I settled on a Volcano Magma kit. I've been vaping for the last 2 days and loving it. Been lurking around these forums for a while and read several threads and people here seem extremely nice and helpful. So that's my story and if you have any tips, advice

Congratulations and welcome aboard. My advice is to research every time you think you may want something new. Chances are there will be several people who have already tried what your thinking of buying and their opinions may help you decide if it's a wise purchase for you.
Grats! BTW Magma is a Joye 510. You can use and SINGLE coil atomizers or cartomizers 2.5 to 3 ohms on slim ecig and Magma uses ones with 510 threading.
I picked up the Blu's and an Ego-C and loving it. The Ego-C gives me those bigger stronger hits, and the blus are a little more discreet. I like having the options. Not to mention filling the used blu cartridges with my favorite flavors gets me even more bang for my buck.
That's a good place to start and see if you want to do this. Congrats on taking the step. If you like it, upgrade to bigger batteries and keep those for backup.

Thank you all for your support. some things do get confusing like what ohms would be confusing but i'm glad you all cleared that up. Yesterday on my first day I had only 4 analogs, today my goal is not to have any, so far so good.
I was thinking of doing that, after lurking here for a while I found that Riva 510 from Liberty Flights have a good deal with bigger batteries.
