Hey folks. I'm sitting in my car waiting on work day to begin, enjoying what I hope is one of my last packs of analogs.

Ordered an 801 starter kit and tobacco flavored juice from rocky mountain last night with a 20% of coupon ftw.

Hoping this ecig deal works out so my wife doesn't kill me. She's asceptic as we had bought a cheap ecig a couple of years back called Randy's, I believe.

As a 1pad Marlboro light smoker, how long should 10ml last me at first? I bought 18mg fwiw.

You need a Big battery VV Mod... That will keep you off the analogs! Provari will work..

Hello rescued, I'm sure you will do great! The setup you have is a nice start, but remember you may need to make some enhancements or adjustments to dial in what works best for you. Maybe you will be hooked from the start, but if not...do not give up! just ask questions and search ECF! Most will help in anyway we can! Congratulations!

Hi rescued! Welcome to the terrific world of vaping. I was a 2 pad smoker for centuries and I vape quite heavily - I generally use about 2 - 3 ml/day - 10ml last me about 4 to 5 days.

Everyone here on ECF wanted me to go with big batteries, but I've been a non-smoker now for over 2 years and find that I much prefer cigarette style/size batteries. That is totally a matter of personal preference - I frequently like to let mine dangle "hands free", while working on the computer, like a cigarette. I only use a big batt when I'm at home in the evenings.

Wishing you the best!

Welcome to ECF, and good luck with your switch to vapor. I stopped analogs about 3 weeks ago, and it was pretty easy for me. I think you still need to want to quit analogs deep inside. I've seen other people try to use vapor to reduce their daily analog intake, but for me i switch over without issues. It really depends on which method works best for you, try and see.

I've found this site to be very educational. Good luck on your journey.

Your wife will eventually try to kill you, I know my husband wants to.... LOL! Just kidding. Just wait until you get a case of the "I want's" really bad. You will want a bigger mod pretty soon instead of an 801. Maybe look at the Lavatube or e-go T once you get a little more comfortable with vaping..... I own a Lavatube, went straight to that from a Greensmoke Mini and I'm loving it! Tanks, cartos, atty's, the possibilities are endless. And then the juices...... YUMMMMMMMM!

Welcome to ECF!

When I used an Ego A & B Tank I used about 2-3 mls of e-liquid a day but I am finding now that I have switched to a variable voltage device with Low Resistance Dual Coil Cartomizers I use about 5-6 ml. This set up tends to burn through the liquid quite a bit faster. You will certainly find that you Vape more often than you smoked and that is normal. Good luck to you and remember, if the device you bought doesn't work for you there is something out there that will!

Hey welcome to ECF. I hope it works for you. I know I was a pack+ a day Reds and at 18mg i was at less then 2mg a day at first now im up to 3-4 i think I don't really watch it to much if i get up to 5-6 its still $3.50ish vs. $7.00+. I tried many "Quit smoking products" before and none of them worked but vaping got me off fast and I tried a cig a few days ago, Because I need to know not because I wanted a cig, and after just 2 months it tasted like S**T. I was surprised because I liked smoking. So push through and enjoy. The first few day are hard but if you can get through that you'll be golden.

Good evening all. I just joined ECF 5 min ago. I am in Nottingham UK & am a member of UK vapers. However the UK Vapers site was hacked tonight & we only managed a couple of new threads before the whole site was shut down. Prior to that, every thread we clicked on took us to another site "J for Justice". Perhaps someone knows who they are from previous experience with them.

Get used to the millions of suggestions for bigger batteries. Just enjoy what you have and worry about the gear later.

I was about the consumption as you are - 1PAD Marlboro Lights. It depends on the flavor for me - but I tend to vape the sweeter flavors more (going through maybe 1 to 2ml a day) compared to the more tobacco flavored ones (except the 555), which might be .5 to 1ml a day. Most of this at 12mg - 18mg.

Of course, that's all a moot point if I'm vaping and enjoying coffee/adult beverages.

Usually you'll vape more at first and then as you get comfortable you'll slow down. We all go through finding the right juices we like, aslo getting the right ecig and just adjusting to the whole vaping experience. It takes time but sure is more fun and a whole new world.

P.S. There will be bummer days but worth it all.
