Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself real quick. I've been vaping for about 5 months now and just upgraded from a ego style ecig to a Nemesis mod and Nimbus rda yesterday, both of which are clones. I'm very pleased with them both so far and the difference in flavor compared to my ego is beyond amazing. I already have some plans in the works to build my Nimbus with 28g kanthal wire with a cotton wick. Will probably shoot for around .5 ohms. I'm still very new to this so I've been reading and reading for the past couple days and can't wait to start building. I am in need of a new o-ring for my Nimbus if anyone knows any stores that have what I'm looking for. I understand I should be looking for 1x15mm in size
I'm sure I'll learn a lot here!

Hi Crawl. Welcome from another Tar Heel. Nice upgrade form the egos. Take a look at the Kayfun style attys. The genuines are expensive (but the best). There are some less expensive clones available too. Good luck.

Thanks for the recommendation on the Kayfun. I would like to have a nice new atty. The Aerotank I have just isn't cutting it with the Nemisis

Here's the best place (cheapest/fastest) to get a genuine Kayfun Lite Plus. They're the best (by most accounts). But they are costly. If it doesn't fit your budget there are some decent clones available. Not as good but adequate. Keep it in mind when you decide to take another step.

Thanks for the info. I haven't read up on microcoils at all. I'll have to start reading about them

microcoils are easy to build. Easier than others because you can wrap around a drill bit or microdriver or similar. Makes for a neat and tidy coil...not to mention it performs very nicely.

Don't know how much the conversion is between 4 and Euro's but I got mY KFL+ on ebay for like 35 bucks and it came with 2 Large M tanks. make sure you read up on battery/ohm safety as your going to need it when you go subohm.

The kayfun is basically a dripper with a tank so It's simple to setup and it functions like a dripper, it's a very good direction to go in if you have the nimbus and want to start moving on to rebuildables.

Welcome to the forum and hope you find all the info you need here, there's tons of knowledge floating around. I personally love micro coils, they're easy to work with, last longer, and definitely easier to change wicks with. I feel as if though vapor production is better with micro coils but that just may be my personal experience. Give everything a try and see what works best for you. SuperXDrifter has posted a few videos around here about making micro coils the easy way, you might want to look into that, if i come across them i'll come back and repost for ya!

I am also new to this forum and vaping. Got an ego style battery for x-mas and within a week had a VAMO v5 and a couple clearomizers. I am looking to upgrade to a mech like you, recently got a Russian 91% and have really enjoyed the coil building aspect of vaping. Really wish I would have had more confidence in myself in the beginning, because I have not found it difficult nor do I find Ohm's law confusing (love math and physics). I second the Kayfun suggestion by the way, but if you are going to get a clone I would look at the Russian, it is as good (to many people better) then the Kayfun. I have read many people who have purchased Kayfun clones only to be very disappointed. They are great for getting the customization of your own coil but in a tank you can take out and about and not worry about dripping constantly. Can't wait to get my Nemesis clone as well, waiting on Vape Royalty to get the Brass on SS version back in stock. Then going to get me some 30 amp Sony 18650's and try and find a Zenith v2 (think that dripper looks amazing). Wish I had the money for a Stingray from JDtech, love the phantom brass.
