New guy just wanted to say Hi!

Long time reader first time poster! Just started vaping on the 9th of October. I am analog free!
Started with then Npro, loved the taste. Hated the battery life and the cost! Then went to the Joye 510 and havent looked back. I built two of my own mods. A 5v mod made from a Binks AA flashlight, using 510 atty or carty, and a 5V 2A power supply from a D-Link router. The 2nd was my version of a box type. Running 2 400Mah single cell Lipos in parallel, built in charger with an off switch! This weekend I am going to build a Box that will run at 5V! Not smelling like smoke is awesome! vaping while walking through Walmart is fun too!

Welcome! You seem quite advanced for a 1st time poster. I started with a 510, and ultimately upgraded to a bigger battery. A box mod would not work well for me at work.

About a year or so ago, I heard a radio advertisement about e-cigs. So I gave them a call! They are pushy types, so I played along with them for a while then hung up! Then about 3 weeks ago I went to pick up a couple cartons of smokes. Got my wife a carton and picked me up a Njoy. From that point on I was done with tobacco! Started reading forums, watching you tube videos, ideas started running through my head. As far as tinkering goes, I love to mod anything! Xbox's, PSP's, Computers, made the mods for rapid fire controllers for my son's xbox controller, I am big into RC's, crawling especially! So I mod the axles, chassis, wheels, you name it! I like to make my own stuff, or make someone elses better! Its just something that I have always enjoyed doing!

I should have some time this weekend to snap a few pics! The flashlight 5V mod is as ugly as they come. Took me all of 10 min to make. The box mod took about an hour to do. Since I have been big into RC stuff, alot of the items I will use on the next mod will have items used from the hobby. Like a BEC (battery elimenator circuit) to take a 7.4 volt LiPo battery down to 5 volts. and a battery cutoff switch to disengauge the battery when it hits the desired cutoff voltage, this is done to avoid battery and personal damage! Im not worried about the size of the mods at this point, just the functionality!
