new guy .. need to verify whats going on with my atomizer

i have a joye brand 510-t atomizer that i used to use for awhile and then switched to cartos and now i use a high resistance atty to direct drip on my lavatube... i liked the tank system to use while driving, but havent used it for about a week. i went to use my 510-t and nothing happens... not anything at all... zero vapor.. no familiar "hiss" when i fire it... nothing at all happens.. i measured it with a multimeter and it came up at 2.5 ohms... i just now measured it again and without using it, it now measures 14.9 k. dead atty right? forgive the dumb question... ive never had one die on me yet
