Hello, I'm new.
I've been vaping for probably a year now and just recently got another new battery and tank.
I purchased the Aspire Nautilus Mini with 1.6Ohm BVC and the new Vision Vapros Nanchuka variable wattage battery, red in color. Its able to change the wattage from 6w-18w in 1.0 increments.

I love this setup but I feel I've been burning through coils too quickly.
I have the battery set on 9-10 watts as where my buddy has the same battery, but has the full size Nautilus and has it set on 12-16 and the coils do fine.

Do you think it has to do with my coils only being 1.6 Ohm?
Will the 1.8 Ohm coils for the full size fit?
Thanks.

Yeah I agree with dc99. The juice makes a huge difference. 60/40 and 50/50 pg/vg on a nautilus aspire at 10.5 watts lasted me a few days back when I used it. Anything above 11 and I would get a burned taste. The more VG, the slower it wicks. YMMV.

Yes, most of all of my flavors are 50/50, usually with only 3-6mg of Nic.
What PG/VG mixture do you recommend?

You have the aspire nautilus mini with k1.6 ohm bvc coils running at 9-10 watts.
Your buddy has aspire nautilus with same battery running at 12-16 watts, but with a different coil that you don't know.
Or maybe its the 1.8 ohm coil.
Yes the 1.8 ohm coil for the nautilus full size will fit in the mini.

No it does not have to do with with ohms of the coil. More to do with the wire gauge, which is something you will not know.

Most likely its because of the type of liquid you are using; or maybe you just vape more millilitres per day.

I used to need to dryburn my clearo heads after 3 days.
