Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I've actually been browsing this site for quite a while trying to decide on what to get. I started with one of those gas station thingies and nearly coughed up a lung...I did some research and found out I can't really handle the PG. Since then I've been using a 50/50 mix, and mixing it down further with some store bought VG (a MILLION times better!!!) My only problem now is that it seems like I lose the flavor doing it that way. Now that I'm back working I'm gonna order some 100% VG and see where that ends up. In the meantime, I've gone from a pack a day to 3 or 4 cigs on the weekend, which I think is a pretty big step for a 20+ year smoker. All of that to say thank you guys for this site, it's a Godsend for someone like me who researches before they get into anything!

Welcome! I'm pretty new myself and think I have problems with PG as well. I use the Red Oak 100% VG line from Johnson Creek but there seams to be A LOT of juice suppliers out there and I'm dying to try some of the other members' favorites.
Welcome to the forum. When you add vg to your juice, you are weakening the flavor. Happy Vaping

Glad you decided to post, it is nice to meet you.I started with the Vision Crystal starter kit, and just yesterday I got the Ego Twist, a Kanger T2, and an MT3...the MT3 was doing pretty awesome until I went to refill it, now It doesn't work. Still getting a feel with the T2...

I'm new at this as well. So new in fact, that I haven't really started vaping, yet. A year ago, my wife got me a "Health e-Cigarette" starter kit with two batteries, two vaporizers, and 10 10-packs of cartridges. Just like the first poster, I coughed so much that I just about left one of my lungs on the floor. Back in the box, and back on the shelf it went.
Fast forward a year (to about one week ago). My wife's nagging me about where the e-cigarette went and why I don't use it. I told her. She didn't believe me, so I had to show her. Of course, this was right after dinner, so you can guess what happened. She told me I should just go cold turkey. I told her, "Been there, done that, silk-screened the first t-shirt. Cold turkey's only good when it's between two slices of bread with lettuce, tomato, and dijon mustard".
So, we started googling around to find out why I was coughing so much with the e-cig, and found this site. After reading a bit, I figured out pretty quickly that it's the PG that's the culprit. My wife is going to go on Taobao.com (Chinese version of e-Bay) and see if I can get different mixtures of PG and VG. If so, we are going to order the eGo-K kit a give this vaping thing another go.

Cmknight think you will do a lot better with the ego k just stick with it and find the right flavor and good luck
