Could anyone comment on the V2 vs the mini? What would be the battery life difference between the 2? I have a VaporShark DNA20 and it uses the small internal battery and honestly it last almost all day. How much longer does the V2 last opposed to the Hana mini?

Also, Does anyone happen to own a mini and a kayfun Lite? I am curious to see what the mini looks like with a kayfun Lite sitting on it

I was wondering if someone could help me with this question. I am looking to purchased a Hana v2 and was curious whats the lowest OHMs it can read before it doesn't allow you to control the wattage? On there site it says 1.0 Ohm. So does that mean, Anything below 1.0 Ohms, That it will strictly use the voltage that the battery provides? Is this correct? Anything above 1.0 Ohm, I can adjust the wattage?

The reason i ask is because i been using my new VaporShark DNA20 for a few days now and one thing i noticed about it is that i am running a 0.7 Ohm kayfun and i am still able to adjust my wattage to my liking.

Could someone in simple terms explain to me why the smaller VaporShark DNA20 allows me to set my wattage on a low .7 Ohm coil while the Hana's lowest Ohm is 1.0? If i were to run a .7 Ohm coil on the Hana i assume i would be getting the power strictly from the battery? and not being able to adjust?

1 ohm is the evolv factory spec. All DNA20 devices work the same with regard to resistance.

As the good doctor stated - and if I recall correctly, both the resistance and voltage will continue to display, but one of them (I believe it's the voltage) will blink when it goes into unregulated mode. Having never actually done this myself though, I admit to passing on hearsay evidence.

I'd wait for further confirmation before blasting it into a stone.

Does anyone here own the Hana mini? I am so leaning more towards the mini now simply because my VaporShark gets me thru almost an entire day and i believe the VaporShark and Hana mini both have the same size battery in them. My only worry about the mini was that the Kayfun might be to large ( in diameter ) and hang over the edge ( like on my VaporShark ) but i just seen some pics and it doesn't. I cannot find 1 review on the mini anywhere though.

Hey guys, does anyone use their Hana as a passthrough when its charging? Did anyone ever have any issues from doing so? I thought I read on his site that you shouldn't. It just so tempting when its sitting next to me at work charging. lol

All the time. I wouldn't do it with Lipo batteries, but I'm not concerned with high drain lit-ions.

Here's the (verbatim) warning from the Hana site:

Warning: You must have a battery installed to be used as a pass-thru. Damage may occur if a battery is not properly installed. Charge port must be free of any liquid or debris before plugging in the micro USB charge cord. Serious damage can occur if charge area is not free of debris.

Thanks DPLongo22. I see he changed the site a little since the last time I was there and now I see where its says its ok to use as pass-thru. Cool Thank you much. I've had mine for a couple months now and was always scared to use it when charging. Didn't wanna have a $250 brick on my desk.

Nope, not at this time, on order though, I just came from there.
They have a few mini's left though, I just got one.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually ordered this thinking it was the mini because on the Hana Modz website they refer to the mini as the Mini Pack. Contacting vapeupusa to sort this out for me, hopefully they haven't shipped it out yet.

Although I still have a Zmax and a couple Vamo's I went with mechanicals some time ago and haven't looked back, till now.
This Hana mini vapes just like a mechanical but consistant. My preferred setup is 28 gauge nichrome @ 0.8 ohm and this does really well.
I suppose I need to start wrapping at 1.0 or slightly above as it can't maintain my wattage setting (17 watts) as the battery charge drops. It simply delivers battery voltage at that point if I understand things right.
Anyway I'm really happy with it.

So I'm a complete noob to the Hana Mod and just picked one up second hand. I'm also a complete noob to DNA20 mods with an 18650 in them charged by a micro USB. Anyone here have any pointers as to what could have caused the scenario seen in the pics below? My first instinct was to say the battery vented, but the wrapper around the battery looks fine and is completely intact. It just has that white haze all over it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

@ drewbalicious, does it work OK?

Out of the box it didn't work with the supplied battery in the pics there. But I cleaned that white haze off everything I could get to, focusing mostly on the positive battery connection. Popped in a new battery and it's been working fine for couple hours now.

I'm at a total loss.
