Valley of the Sun
I've just recently ventured into the world of DIY. Currently, using VapiongZone (VZ) SuperConcetrated (SC) flavors. I see that VZ recommends mixing at 2.5% on the SC flavors. I made a 10mL, NO NIC run at 2.5% VZ SC Peach (.25mL) and 1:1 PG/VG ratio at 4.875mL of both PG/VG. Ran the mixture in an ultrasonic cleaner for 3 individual 1 hour cycles at an average temperature of 115*F (even with the heating element off, the bugger still generated some serious warmth).

I noticed after the first run that the flavor had a very odd chemical back note in the odor. I assumed this was due to the heat. Let cool and waited overnight.

I pulled out 2mL and put it into a Kanger T3s on a joyetech EgoT to taste throughout the day. The odd chemical smell was much fainter but still there. The taste was very sweret, decent, but the finish of the exhale had the same "plasticky" note hiding in the background.

I used the remaining 8mL to bump the flavor percentage up to 4% VZ SC Peach and added necessary PG/VG to maintain a 1:1 ratio between the two. Same process and the "plasticky" taste is gone. The Peach flavor is there. It's sweet, but not too sweet. and juicy. I really wanted it to finish crisp. I am contemplating using an additive, but confused on what to use. Also, I am wondering what percentage others have mixed this or simlar behaving flavors at?
