Hi everyone, I've been lurking here for a few weeks reading and trying to learn. Had my last analogue on Friday the 13, January 2012. Been using the cheep gas station stuff and ordered a Volt x2 on Monday. It was suppose to be here today but seems to be stuck in a post office about 30 miles from here. I ordered it without realizing how popular they seem to be and now I am really wishing it would hurry and get here already.

Oh, I wish there was a sticky here that was for new members to introduce ourselves...OR is there one and I just could not find it.

Well just wanted to say this is a great site and I am so glad I found it.

Yes I do, thank you. I have a juice question. I ordered some juice 70%pg and 30%vg. I did this based on a members post but then second guessed myself. I will be using it with a clearo on the Volt x2 and am worried it might burn my throat like the cheap stuff tends to. Should I have ordered 50/50? What can I expect?

70% PG - 30% VG sounds pretty much on the standard/ average side... So, I guess you will be fine. Remember the more the PG, the stronger the TH, and the more the VG, the thicker and more intense the vapor... But 70-30 PG-VG sounds pretty balanced to me, and possibly that's why it has become such a popular ratio.

I order most of my juice from ECBlend its a great company and you can get 5ml bottles to sample for $2.50. I would try the juice you got and work from there, if the throat hit is to strong increase the VG (more vaper, less throat hit) or lower the nic.

Thank you both for your responses and reassurance. I ordered the 18 mg nic and bought 4 different flavors. After all the work I have put into mastering the learning curve using the cheap 510's with cheap bottles of juice and bad battries I'm hoping for a magical solution to making this work for me.

I think you will be very, very, VERRRRRYYYY pleased with your X2 and clearo.

I get my juices from AVE and ECBlends. Everything I have from AVE is 100% VG and from ECBlends is 80% PG / 20% VG.

They all run great through my clearos. Just remember to rinse them out with warm water after every two or three fills and let it air dry for a couple of hours. Your first few hits afterwards will be a little light, but then it will be back to normal quickly.

Welcome to the ECF! Lucky you got that X2 when you did, they're selling out fast and I'm waiting for them to restock at the end of this week. I actually had one in my cart on the site, went to eat and came back with it telling me it's now out of stock lol. I'm still fairly new to vaping but i'm slwoly working myself into more mixtures. Started with 100% PG, then 80/20, and now just ordered 70/30. Eventually I'll try 50/50 and at some point 100% VG since I read so many people using that. So much info on this site to take in, just trying to gradually introduce myself into it all.

Welcome to ECF buddy!. I will say the waiting game for your gear to turn up is always the daunting part of it all, BUT once you get it, unbox it, charge it and then.... finally vape it you will LOVE every minuite of it!!!.
I have been on the stinkies for the last 4 months and I am glad to pick my gear back up and use it. Plus funily enough E-Juice tastes better with age! which I did not expect. All The best anyway and I am sure If you have any qs there are plenty of very helpful people on here!.
