When I started, I KNEW I had to have a hassle-free ecig that I could vape for hours without having to fiddle with it. I didn't want to have to constantly fill juice, charge the battery or drip into an atomizer. Those are the reasons I started with an eGo-T. The eGo-T is an atomizer with a tank system. The atomizer screws onto the ego-T 510 battery (get the 1000 mAh battery if you get this system. It lasts longer!), then you have a little cartridge/mouthpiece combo that slides into the atomizer. The cartridge holds 1ml juice so you can vape for hours on it before you need to refill. The atomizer heats the juice when you push the battery button and that is where your vapor comes from. It's a GREAT kit for a beginner. I still use mine everyday....along with several other mods I've since picked up, but the eGo-T is simple and a perfect size for taking out and about. I never leave home without it.

That was what worked for me. 40+ years smoking and haven't had the slightest urge for a cigarette since I started vaping.

Cignot.com has a great price on the eGo-T system. You get two 1000mAh batteries, two atomizers (be sure to get "LR" Low Resistance atomizers!), 5 cartridges (filled with ejuice OR can get empty ones and fill with your own juice) and a charger for $74.00. Here's their web site: https://www.cignot.com/product_p/kit-egt-all.htm Make sure you order plenty of juice too! Get lots of extra atomizers also. They are disposable after 2-3 weeks. You don't want to be without them...ever. eGo-T comes in some pretty colors too! Or black and stainless steel.

Good luck! You will LOVE vaping!

Thank you all for the great info and welcomes. I am very interested and going to keep doing more research and look into getting one soon!

What would you all suggest for me?
I smoke roughly a pack 2-3 days, i smoke menthol and i usually like it pretty minty (camal menthol silvers, marlboro menthol lights).

I am not sure if I should get one or the other or both but I am looking into the e-cigs that use liquid and no liquid but use cartilages.

You want the ones that use liquid. Get one with 510 threading. I use the Kgo. It is $44 for two complete setups. KGO 1100 mAh 2 battery kit

He is out of stock at the moment, but is getting more this week. And you can call him with questions!! I would suggest you get some cartomizers too. The 1.7 is popular 5 pack of 1.7ohm single coil XL cartomizer by Smok Tech

Then get some juices. I would suggest that you get a few bottles of 18 mg. and 24 mg., the smallest sample sized bottles you can get. Hoosier has Dekang Menthol, which is tasty. A good light menthol is made by Backwoods Brew Backwoods Menthol Tobacco.

You will also need a drip tip for trying out new juices. This is done by a dripping a few drops onto the atomizer.

This will give you everything you need for a couple of weeks. Oh, and the kit comes with some pre-filled cartridges; I threw them out. Not very good.

All ecigs use liquid. The atomizer is what creates the vapor. You either put a cartridge on an Atomizer and the cartridge holds the juice and feeds it to the atomizer, or you can use cartomizers, which is a cartridge and atomizer in one. Most people prefer cartomizers bc they are a lot more consistant and hold it more juice.
Personally I would say get a bigger battery PV, bc slim ecigs need to be recharged very frequently and they limit your options on what you can use, but that's up to you.

If you do get an eGo, I wouldnt get an eGo-T. The eGo-T uses tanks and frankly they suck. They are very finicky and can leak alot. If you get an eGo, just get a regular one and buy some cartomizers. Their alot better. The tanks dull flavor and TH(throat hit).
The eGo is 3.3-3.4V, and I prefer 3.7V PVs. They are similar to an eGo, but provide alittle more oomph and handle low resistance attys and cartos better. Check out the kGo, Epower, and Riva. They are all very affordable 3.7V PVs that have 510 connections so you'll have many options on what you can use on them.
I use an Epower and love it. I started with a crappy slim ecig, and quickly moved onto a bigger battery PV bc I hated having to charge batteries constantly. Now I get a day to a day and a half on one battery and couldn't be happier
