Hi Paulie and welcome to ECF. You say that you'd like to transition to vaping, do you have anything in particular in mind as far as a setup, or how you'd like to vape (a lot of clouds and vapor, high wattage, low nicotine setups) or something more similar to a cigarette in type of draw, less vapor and higher nicotine? That would help let us know what sort of mods and tanks to recommend.

It may also be helpful if you let us know how much you smoke and how long you've been smoking, that can give an idea of what type of nicotine strength you might enjoy and would help you with your cravings though detox.

I will also note, sometimes it takes time and experimentation to find the "right" setup and juice for you to be successful, but that is all part of the process of getting to successful vaping. Also, some dual use can be normal in the beginning for some vapers (it was, for me, for a somewhat brief period this time, although I've vaped and failed to quit before. I still had to start over and find my "right" setups, but it was well worth the effort for me, to become smoke free.

Most of all welcome to ECF and I wish you success!

Anna

I suggest that you read over my blogs (link below in my signature) and become familiar with vaping slang and terminology. Taking up vaping can seem like information overload and is perfectly normal. Take your time and do some research before buying a setup. Ask questions here about anything that you don't understand.
