New here and fairly new to vaping. Haven't had an analog in 6 weeks and don't miss it. I started out with a LOT of research. Made my educated choice of an EVod kit for my first setup. Great kit, got no complaints. I have since bought an ego twist, a Vivi Nova mini, a Kanger Pro tank mini, a vision spinner, a kanger Pro tank min II, an HH 357, and just added a SmokTech RDA, and a lava Dude Lambo4.0. Still waiting for the LavaTube. I have been rapping my own micro coils with cotton and loving them. Oh! And I also have a Fogger/ Taifun clone, but haven't played with it yet, as my ego styles won't fire it. So when the tube arrives (hopefully tomorrow) I can dig into that.

I guess you can say I'm hooked. I got much help from the like of P. Busardo, GrimGreen, and Rip Trippers... All have inspired and educated me on my choices of equipment limited by my budget.

My wife is still a heavy smoker, and just shakes her head at me. She doesn't get it. I have been trying to turn her though. I have turned my cousin, brother-inlaw, both my step sons, and my daughter.

Sorry for rambling, and thanks for reading. Vape on...:2cool:

Welcome to the Forum. We like first time ramblers!!

Sounds like you are well on your way. Good selection of gear, going in the right direction, imho. Being on a VapeQuest is at least half the fun, and, of course, quitting smoking is a fabulous decision. Many think vaping is the best and easiest way to quit smoking. I'm in that camp. I tried every way but Chantix and made 18 serious quitting attempts prior to vaping. Vaping took me off smoking surprisingly easy, on a dime, and I was a 3 PAD heavy smoker. Still a little surprised, but I'm getting use to it now. Stay the course, keep up the good work and set a good example for the wife. Vaping works great, but you still have to want to quit smoking. My wife quit when I did, but resisted the gear upgrades for a long time. Great that I saved money, not great that I wanted to spend so much money on VapeGear. Took me months to get her from egos to APV's. For her, Twists turned to iTaste's, then to Vamo's, and finally Sigelei's.

I moved quickly through various vape gear and ended up at the top end stuff fairly quickly, and I'm very satisfied. I pretty much have everything I want, and settled on carto tanks. Love the flavor, vapor, and gear. Hang in there. Others have a way of joining us on our journey when they are ready. It doesn't take long for the worst day vaping to beat the best day smoking. Give it time, vaping has a way of spreading and growing on you.

Welcome to the Forum, congrats on six weeks, good luck, happy shopping, power up and vape on! Thank you for sharing your story!

Welcome to the ECF neighborhood SpyderClouds,
CONGRATS on no stinkes in 6 weeks. Evod kit is a great place to start, simple but effective. Dang you got right into the spirit of it. Glad to have you in the neighborhood, just work slow on the better half, they do come around. Don't stop with the conversions, they are healthier in the long run. :)

Thank you for all of the great welcomes!
@The bottom line, sounds like we quit on the same day! I have it marked in my phone, with annual reminders set.
@The Wizard, I am also a BIG Tolkien fan. An I don't mean the movies, I have read most of his books. The Hobbit, and the trilogy several times...

Thanks again, I. Already feel at home...
