New here & need help

Hi everyone, new here. YIKES - I don't know what supplier to purchase from, best prices, best cig, etc. I would like a white mini starter kit.(looks like a real cig). I've been on so many websites I could scream, prices are so different, some are on backorder, etc. etc.

Please, would a few of you just let me know what suppliers you like best or which you give the most bang for your buck. I just don't have the money to burn to test everything. I'm not even sure that I will like this. I've read so much that my mind is a blur!!!!

This is the cheapest 901 starter kit i know of without having to order from China. $35.00 free shipping. Although i personally would choose the blank carts and add a 10ml bottle of liquid. Would be under $50.00 but you would only have one atomizer. Might be enough to let you see if it is something you want to pursue further.

There is a lot of kits out there, the one i bought is from Katy at www.smokelesshop.com. Her starter kit comes with lots of extras including juice, but she is out of stock till later this week.

Most kits will be bewteen $50.00 and $70.00 depending on the supplier. That will most times be on atomizer, two batteries, charger and 5 carts.

If you are open to the idea of a penstyle i know ben at www.vapornine.com has the Rio in stock for $70.00. It comes with two batteries and two atomizers. Check Tulsavaper's post for his reaction to getting his first one.

Good luck, read lots. There is a lot of info stored in this forum. I would say though don't rush into your first purchase. Take your time, research and be sure of what you want.

EDIT - meant to add i have ordered from all the suppliers in the links i posted, Katy is awesome to do business with, Ben is great too. He is a relativley new supplier but is doing business the right way. Jane (the first link) is good too but this is something she does in her spare time but is good to deal with too.

I'm not far behind you - I just started too. I ordered from Katy at smokelessshop because it's the best starter kit I found - you get LOTS of extras.

Pretty soon you'll be searching for juice - I have no idea where to get the best juice but if a supplier has some in stock, be ready to pounce because they sell out Very Quickly!

Hi Nosugar, I am in the same boat as you are. New to this whole deal, been lurking for days, reading & reading. A few venders of seemingly good rep keep popping up: Puresmoker.com, Thesmokelessshop, e-smokeytreats, Janty, just to name a few. The problem I kept running into was most of these suppliers are out of stock on the particular ecig I wanted. I ended up ordering an M 401 kit from Abettersmoke.com this morning. I just received an email that it is being shipped out. I had read a thread that convinced me that they were solid, with a very good product. Also does not hurt that they are having a nice " extras" sale for the month of March. Tough to get a handle on this without first hand expierence, but this forum has been wonderful in that respect. Winterwoman, which one did you order??? I'm going to go with Katy too, did you call her or just order online? I keep reading that a penstyle is the best but honestly, I want to watch what I spend - you know, what if I don't like it????? And again, any suggestions are appreciated.

Katy's 901 starter kit can't be beat. the 901 is a good reliable device and she totally backs it with super customer service. Calling her is a good thing, she is wise and willing to share her knowledge.

HI nosugar - fellow nubie - I just got my 901 last night from Puresmoker - took 5 days to ship - ordered Wed night and got Monday. I think he's out of most of his juices, though... and on his website he says he's moving to a new location?

I ordered some juice from Totally Wicked - they are a bit high on price, but the shipping was just as fast (ordered Wed night delivered Monday). both shot me EM's notifying that it shipped.

whichever one you try first, just remember, it's going to be a learning curve - I find the 901 a bit heavier than an analog and took a bit to get used to. Also found out the hard way what happens when you use too much juice <numb lips!>

Stick with it! I plan to be totally analog free as soon as I can figure out what the - I'm doing.

OK, that settles it Ed! I'm calling Katy now. I am so confused about everything - refilling carts, dripping?, faulty this, bad that, etc. So, I'm just going to order and hope for the best!

Hey Vicks, I want to be cigarette free too (what the heck is analog, where did the term come from??? I have to look it up). Health concerns AND money. I hope this ends up being cheaper in the long run.

I'm new here too guys. My best advice is just keep reading. Even the old posts. You will learn so much. This forum has saved me a lot of money. Watch all the videos too. Very informative. The people on this forum are so helpful. I'm sure they've answered all our questions a zillion times and yet they don't get snotty about more newbies. I asked several questions but the forum saved me from asking even more.

be sure to read all the "helpful to newbies" threads at the top and remember there is a classified section here... so dont worry too much how much you spend... if you don't like it after a few weeks... you can sell to someone else and get back 1/2 to 3/4 your $. If only used for a short time... these have pretty decent resale value and if it only costs you half the price of one to try.. isn't it worth saving your life if it works?

I know it's a lot of reading but if you're determined to make this work it's a must. As far as the crazy part, I'm already there so no big deal. So far I've only ordered from Steve @ Puresmoker.com & juice from Totally Wicked. But there are lots of good suppliers. Read the threads on the good & bad suppliers. Very informative.
