Welcome to ECF! I used to smoke Pall Mall Ultra Light 100's before I started vaping. My favorite flavors are coffee/cappuccinos, chocolates and some fruity mixed flavors. I've become very fond of Strawberry Waffles and S'mores that I make myself these days. If I'm feeling the need for a "tobacco" flavor, I usually go with my own RY4 mix.

Welcome, zerowley! I'm from Tulsa. I used to smoke mostly Marlboro....then started smoking the cheapest thing I could find after the last big tax increase. Usually got them at an Indian Smokeshop. Anyway, at first I thought I'd want tobacco flavors....WRONG! I now vape mostly fruit flavors (my favorite: vaporbomb peach or blueberry) or coffee flavors (again, vaporbomb...their coffee is awesome).... and recently I've started mixing my own. Loving that. Good luck and just try small (3-5ml) samples of lots of different juices until you find a few that you love. I stay away from Chinese liquids (Dakang)...but other than that, have tried a lot of USA made juices. My favorite vendor is Vaporbomb, but I also like Vaporrenu, FreedomsmokesUSA, Gourmet Vapor, and Rocky Mountain vapor. There will be lots of other "favorites" from lots of other people. What pv do you have?

Hi...I'm a newbie myself. I have smoked about 15 cigs a day for about 13 years and most of those years I smoked Marlboro Lights...er excuse me they are called Marlboro Gold now.

I am right now enjoying a mix of cherry and cheesecake that I got from Madvapes...a really affordable site IMO. I also got some Bubblegum flavor and it doesn't taste too bad...I think I still had some tobacco flavor left on the cartridge or the atomizer so it was a little "smoky" at first and now it tastes pretty good.

Other than that I used the stock juice that came with my Joye 510 I got from Cignot and their VG Black Tea that tastes more like red wine to me. I am going to use up the tobacco cartridges that came with my kit and after that I think I am through with the tobacco flavors. I just placed and order for some samples from Freedomsmokeusa.

I think one of the advantages of vaping is that I won't have to taste cigarettes anymore...a taste I used to love but now resent (if that makes sense).

Welcome to ECF. I started out smoking Marlboro Reds, went to Camels, then to Camel lights. I was a pad smoker most of my 20+ years, but had cut about 5 a day in the past couple years.

I started out with an xhale kit from 7-Eleven because it was cheap and I wanted to get an idea for what the vapor was like. I knew that it was an inferior kit because I had been lurking here for about a year. I made an eGo kit as my first real purchase.

My first juices were 18 mg Camel (Desert Ship) and 36mg unflavored PG that I DIYed with flavorings and VG down to 18mg. I loved it and immediately started ordering many different flavors to see what I liked the best. I have a bunch that I haven't even tried yet. I've got 21 samplers steeping right now that I haven't even tried. (You let new juices sit for a while to let the flavor blend on handmade juice.)

I currently go to my DIY Camel, caramel, vanilla mix for my main vape. I am loving french toast right now though, and whiskey, and praline, and . . .

Get a good solid kit to begin with, and a couple different flavors, then sit back and enjoy the journey!

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I'm actually not looking to vape tobacco flavors; the question was more oriented for what kind of strength/flavor you guys liked before and what you're enjoying now. I may try some tobacco flavored liquid, but I'm looking forward to all the other different flavors. There are just so many I don't even know where to start.

What about strength? I've been a pad smoker for 5 years, used to smoke Camel Wides, moved to Camel Reds, and more recently Marlboro Reds.

Thanks again for the feedback.

I started with 24mg of nic....and have since moved to 18mg for most of the time. Still do 24mg every now and then when I'm out and can only hit it every now and then. 18mg for when I can chain vape. Everybody is different....I'd suggest getting several samples of different flavors AND different nic levels. I'd suggest starting with 24mg. Just a suggestion....

I agree most people use 18 or 24mg at first but some need less and some need 36, it doesn't seem to matter what you smoked, it is still an individual thing. If you start getting headaches from vaping you are likely getting too much nic and need to lower it. If you are still getting bad cravings you likely need more nic. Only by trial and error you will find what works for you.

Flavor is so subjective. I was a Pall Mall menthol smoker for years. I gave up on trying to find a menthol flavor that was even close. Now, after over four months of vaping, I tend to go more toward basic, and not so basic, tobacco flavors. Freedom Smoke USA is my favorite supplier of juice at this point. Love their Wyatt Earp, RY4, and French Toast. Yes, french toast doesn't sound like a tobacco flavor, but it is. My second favorite on the list is Gourment Vapor. I absolutely love the Fire Cured Honey Tobacco.

BTW: I used to smoke 1.5-2 pad. I now vape 24 mg regularly.
