hello, nice to be a part of this huge forum. I have been reading a lot of posts from here and recently started the whole RBA stuff. I have a question tho. I already rebuilt my atty many times using 2 micro coils and also cotton. recently, I got some ekowool and decided to give it a go. thing is, the eko wool is thinner than the diameter of my micro coils. is this an issue or does the wick not have to expand and completely touch the micro coil?

I am also having a strong throat hit which makes me want to remove one of the coils. can I just have a really long wick with one micro coil? (that way i can hold more juice)

Fold the ekowool over 2 times or 3 times depending on how thick your wool is. There are many different techniques, look up on youtube for building micro coils with ekowool and you can see how different people use different styles. I use cotton and probably will always use cotton unless i see something else in person that fancies my interests Lol

Unlike cotton, ekowhool will not swell up. your coil need to be in contact with the silica.

Just curious, What are you rebuilding? What device do you use, what resistance, what battery?

ok so this is going to sound bad, but i dont have a meter to test the resistance. I use a pen's inside to wrap my wire around (8 times) and its diameter is bigger than that of a tooth pic. I use a igo - 4w with a kamry 101 battery. way i figure is that when i first got this from a vape store, the people were not very knowledgable and just said wrap your coil around the silica 3 times then hook it up in dual coil setup. it tasted burnt and they didn't test it or anything so i think they are pretty bad lol. watched a lot of youtube videos and read stuff from this forum is all i've been doing


problem with my ekowool is that it is too thin to just go thru without folding but too thick to fold even once.

Rule number one: Measure your coils, that's not an option, especially when wrapping dual coils.

The Kamry 101 is not a battery it is a mod in which you insert a battery. Using the proper battery is of utmost importance if you dont want to turn your mod into a pipe bomb.

18650 battery with a fuse that says 20. i gotta go pick up a meter from a store then haha

what if i use single coil?
