The forum asked me to tell something about myself so here we go.
I am Linnie, 38 years old and a mom of 4 boys who are 13, 12, 7 and 4
I started vaping in February 2016. And never touched a cigarette again... I even detest the taste and smell if someone nearby smokes...
I have a failed back surgery syndrome due to a failed operation. And I live 3 years in bed now. So I call it my bedlife...
I have enormous pain and need to take morfine to get me throughout the days... so on one day my life changed completely, let's say that I don't have a life anymore. I am just surviving for my boys...
That's my short story

I am sorry you have to live in daily pain and that it restricts your life in so many ways....must be particularly tough with small children.

Linnie, welcome to ECF! I'm so thrilled for you that you were able to switch to vaping, and so impressed with your story after what happened with your back surgery! It sounds horrific, and I can't imagine what it must be like living with that constant pain and lack of mobility. Of course you are living for your boys and that is heroic!

Sending positive thoughts your way, hopefully ECF can become a pleasant part of your "bed life" as you call it, and a help with vaping as well as a distraction from the really bad pain times. I can tell that you are an awesome mom by your story and as far as my own kiddo, I find the older he gets, the more he actually needs me around, in some ways, so I'm pleased that I took up vaping to be there for my son and his hopefully future grandkids (not yet, he just turned, 20, so...) So continue sticking around and hanging tough.

Wow. I had a failed hip repair surgery in February and went back to get the total hip replaced nine days ago, I thought I knew pain. I don't know how I could handle your situation.
