New-ish vaper, need some advice on upgrading

I've been vaping on and off for a couple of months now, but I'm cutting out the analogs and looking to go 100% vape. I have an ego-t tank type B which I've been pretty happy with. Just discovered a local B&M e-cig shop and found the evod bcc cart. Best $7 I've ever spent. Of course that got me thinking, "Self, what else could you upgrade?". Next up is the battery. This is where you knowledgeable people come in; I could use some advice and suggestions.

On a budget, so please no $150 units that don't include a battery or charger. Looking for ego threads, preferably pass-through, willing to consider mods, but I'm very fuzzy on them, so link to info (a 'Mods for Dummies' post or the like) would be helpful, too.

This is the currently leader in the clubhouse: Joyetech eGo-T Mod 18650 2200mAh Device (Sold Out) - MyFreedomSmokes.com

Thanks in advance!

It is intimidating to note every supplier selling every kind of big battery mod out there. When I got into bigger batteries, I checked out quite a few of the best rated ones by users here. I ended up going with a Silver Bullet from altsmoke.com. They have a few others on their site that are worth checking out. The SB still holds a place in my lineup due to how well it consistently performs. However, it is a 510 device, but I would recommend trying to move into the 510 carts/tanks/rebuildibles at some point anyhow because it is likely that you will.
Hope that gives you a place to start.
You can also go to the supplier forums and see what their websites are and what they offer and come back here to search for whatever mod peaked your interest and check on reliability, etc.

The next smaller step is a ego twist (variable voltage) battery with a kanger protank. Rugged with pocetability runs bout $45 a setup image.jpg

The medium step is a vamo v2 with your choice of tanks. The vamo tube sells for 40-50 bucks but getting a kit with 3 batteries, charger, tube for around $100 plus tanks

I second this. I just upgraded from a SI Volt to an eGo-CTwist with a vapeonly mini bcc clearomizer and I'm loving it. That would be my personal recommendation for a budget upgrade with some bang for your buck.

Danger, what's the benefit of the 510 form? Not a smart-... question, genuinely want to know :)

well as far as scrapping all your old stuff you dont have to. many many many suppliers sell adapters so even if you did choose a 510 device all your old stuff would work. Variable voltage/ Variable wattage is definitely the way to go. you can adjust the voltage or wattage to your own tastes regardless of what resistance your particular tank/carto/atty what have you. I would recommend both the ego c-twist 1100 mah and the itaste mvp. both are extremely easy to use and adjust and use and are relatively pocketable. hope this helps
