It does? I must have missed that. In all the videos they just show the voltage and wattage settings. I did not see resistance nor did I see actual battery voltage.

No battery voltage I don't think, but it does read ohms. Check out Todd's review on a page or two back

When you tap the top button, it first displays the resistance of the atty and then displays the Wattage or Voltage that it's set to. There's no ability to check battery voltage. Not that critical on that aspect as the Innokin devices tend to shut down when the battery reaches 3.2 volts.

I agree that the lack of battery voltage measurement is a strange oversight since it's available on several other Innokin products. But, the VTR does provide a battery measurement level by displaying a green/yellow/red light that gives you reasonable insight into battery life. I tend to only use the color indicator on my SVD to keep tabs on charge remaining and hardly ever use the voltage measurement it also offers.

What's giving me pause about ordering one is the weight. Didn't think it would be as heavy as it is.

For me battery voltage is the most important info. It tells me if I have pack a reserve battery if I'm out and about.

Doesn't the unit have the same type of colored light indicator (green, amber, red) as the MVP?
That's all I need. 18650s last me all day anyways.

edit: beat me to it

You must be really disappointed in the majority of devices on the market, whether it be mass produced or not. The Nivel and DNA20 don't even offer an actual battery voltage meter...

Not a meter per se, but both chips do give an indication of battery remaining.
In the DNA-20 there's a battery icon on the left side of this display that indicates how much of the battery has been drained.
On the Nivel, there's a six-segment indicator that looks like [ ] when full. A leg of the left segment, then the right (three each), disappears as the battery is drained.

Back on-topic, Mark's review pretty much put the last nail in the Innokin VTR coffin for me.

The weight is because it's made of brass. Like the missing center-pin issue on one order, all I can do is boggle on Innokin's choice of materials
and apparent lack of Quality Assurance.

To each their own, of course, but this traveler has left the Innokin bus.

I have both nivel and dna20 devices, so i underatand. He was referring to an actual "numerical" meter...I don't really see why that's a necessity at this point, but just my opinion...

Well, the LED indicator simply tells you when you are at 3.6V. That's it (essentially as if your car had an LED that simply told you that you have 30 miles left before you're dry). I don't care whether it's numeric (a phone battery-style indicator would be fine), but something more graded would be nice. What I don't get is that Innokin's other mods actually give that numeric info (VV, MVP, etc.). I'm sure this will show up in v2.
