New JGG owner

So I finally got to look at and hold my first GG today. All I can say is WoW. This thing is gorgeous.

I'm gonna ask one more stupid question then I'll leave you guys and gals alone for awhile...I got an ithaka today. After putting it on wrong at first (had two afc controls going on) I finally realized why it didn't look right and got the ithaka afc off and yada yada yada. I like the gg and ithaka combo they are absolutely beautiful together. My question is how do you guys get the wings on the ithaka to line up with the wings on the jgg? Sorry but, it irks me that I can't get mine to line up with each other.

I initially had this problem too and couldn't stand it. This might not be the right answer, but turns out I was tightening the Ithaka way too tight. When I didn't tighten the engraved tube too tight (snug), it not only matched up perfectly with Just GG logo but also I was actually able to unscrewed that tube without much force during cleaning. As far as I can tell, Just GG and Ithaka threads are machined to perfectly line up. Just need to be gentle with the o-ring.
Oh, zero leaks, of course.

My advice if you do not already have one pick up the steel window for the ithaka i drop mine and of course all was ok actually i really hit it hard and the plastic window snapped right at the threads thats my 5 one always have ss window for back up but i like to see my juice what can u do.

Lol yeah kinda. Bought a brass JGG stealth off the classies today. That'll be my last mod for awhile. 2 reos and 2 GG's

That's exactly what I meant when I gave you my "friendly advice" and said you wouldn't be able to stop getting GG's at just the first!
