Have you tried the GS coils in your eGrip yet? They are a cheaper alternative but somehow I doubt they would perform better than the BVC coils. I'm willing to buy a pack to try them if they do though. I'm also seriously doubting the 510 adapter will be included with the RBA base but we shall see.

If the GS Air & eGrip coils are the same then I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. I have 15 brand new eGrip coils to use up but I'm still going strong on the 1st coil that was in the eGrip when I rec'd it. The remaining coils will more than likely be used in the GS Air if in fact they are the same but I dont think anyone knows that concretely yet. The eGrip I will be using the RBA when it becomes available.

Well, I'd imagine even if they look the same and seem to be similar, they could be kinda different. The GS and eGrip coils are made by two different companies... it's possible one is better.

Joyetech's RBA adapter page is up. No price listed. Sigh... it's probably going to be a separate piece that costs additional money. I mean, what else could you possibly use this thing for?

Info I thought to share if anyone is interested...
I was concerned when I started hearing that the mod did not come with numbers on the dial (also heard some got them with more than just the 20 on it), I am spoiled with the digital mods. So I contacted sweetvapes where my mod is coming from and asked which version they carried. This was the response I got
Hi Veronica,

The egrip we carry is the authentic Joyetech egrip and only has the #20 on the dial. Other clones may have other numbers on them witch is a way to distinguish between clone and authentic. Hope that this email helps with the insight you were looking for.

Have a Sweet day

Thank you,

Interesting. I kinda felt the device just changed through normal revisions of pre-release products etc. I can't see the dots or numbers anyway, unless in bright light. I may just put my own dot of black sharpie on this thing.

Some have #'s & some don't. My 1st has #'s my 2nd didn't & they both came from the same place.
Until a vendor opens their shipment they won't know in advance which one they rec'd.

I had read people got both. I also figured they may have released different revisions. I wasn't trying to ruffle feathers by any means. I was just sharing what I was told. When I asked, I hoped she would say they got ones with numbers because that's what I wanted. Either way, I don't rebuild much and I usually vape to taste and not by a specific setting so I am sure it'll be fine for me without numbers... Sorry if I upset anyone!

Hey guys. I just finished my updated review of the eGrip RBA base. This is game changing my friends and you can quote me on that. Flavor, vapor, and airflow are PERFECT. I will never use another stock coil again (not that they are bad) but the RBA makes this a whole nother device. Its now time to get another one.

Also very interested in the RBA base for the eGrip.
I have the black one without #'s. At first it was pretty darn good, but after 2 days the coil wasn't good anymore.
The spare coil was a bit messed up, so I'm vaping on other gear until I get the RBA base.

I would also like to know if there is any way to check the resistance, and how it compares to other RBA's. (kayfun, RDA's, etc)
Anyone changed the battery on it yet?
