I believe them to be safe as well. Silicone has high heat resistance.

Yeah the first few days I kept checking to make sure I didn't have any melting. I was a bit paranoid because it was so soft but after about two weeks use it looks the same as the day i got it

For those using the rba - what's the highest wattage you can use?

I'm using the stock coil that came installed and probably put too much cotton in it. Anyways it works alright from 20 watts to around 25 but not that much flavor, after that I get awful dry hits.

Haven't had time to cut the cotton shorter or just put in a new one.

I also have the RBA for the Delta II tank, may try that barely used it since I got it.

On that note what's a good way to clean flavors out of your tanks? The Subtank is easier as it comes apart.

I have been soaking in hot water and vinegar, what method do people use?

Thanks

Yeah, I've used the ultra high heat resistant stuff on slightly warped exhaust manifolds with lasting results.

I have silicone baking mats that I pour molten sugar on. I usually leave them in the oven even when I'm not using it because it catches spills. Great material.

I'm sure some motivated vaper will convince a company (if not Kanger) to make different colored buttons to match the orings they offer. Would make a ton of money.
I would be asking @ephilbe to change em out for me. I'm afraid of taking my mods apart. I may never get it back together...

I wouldn't have taken mine apart if he didn't do it first. You always hear about the kids that took things apart and put them back together, I was the kid that took things apart and then they never worked again.

I'll have to look into that. I probably turned it off trying to stop email alerts. I would have loved to pitch in. It's so cool to be a part of a community that does stuff like this. I was almost as excited as she was when I saw it.
I thought I turned off my email alerts but... I have a gazillion waiting to be deleted now, lol

View attachment 469934I picked up a daily pill box from wally world for 88 cents. Rubbed the lettering off with solvent, and repurposed into a coil organizer. No more flavor ghosting for this guy!
I just have to ask...what does John Wayne taste like?
