Pretty new at this got my self and endura t18 now looking to up grade
I want more flavour and a variable device. I was looking toward the kanger toolbox mini with temp control and has a variety of coils but not sure which would be best for flavour. I know temp control can only use certain coils bit not sure which to go with. Any ways any info leading me toward a good set up for flavour would be awesome thanks

the topbox mini is a very decent setup, overall - though personally, i would recommend (in the same range) the evic vtc mini mod (75w, single battery, temp control) - for tank options, some of that is going to depend on your vape style - if you are more MTL (mouth to lung inhale versus DL (direct lung) inhale) I would look at the cubis tank - good coil options, a little tighter airflow, very nice flavor... if more DL, then look at Tobeco Super Tank Mini (will use any Atlantis/ Triton compatible coil - LOTS of coil options there, including the Vaporesso cCell ceramics)

in regards to temp control, quick guideline - Ti and Ni coils ONLY in TC mode... SS coils can be used in TC or Power mode... Kanthal coils ONLY in Power mode... (the cCells I mentioned use ceramic wicking - the coil material is either Ni, Kanthal or SS, depending on what you purchase)

I'm not really an experienced vapor, but i do have a Target 75 VTC that uses ceramic coils, flavor is outstanding with ceramic. It can also do TC with their ni200 ceramic coils.

Hi and Welcome! I also recommend the Joyetech eVic VTC mini 75 watt. I have been using one everyday for months at work. I am pretty hard on it and it has held up very well. I use a Kayfun Lite V2 with a 1.25 Ohm coil and my battery lasts almost all day. No need to buy coils you can make your own. It will keep your costs down and you taylor your coils to match your Juice.

All three would be good options main thing is getting a tank with a lot of coil options. Would stay away from doing your own coils tell you learn more and figure out what coils work best for you.

Thanks definitely not going to go in to building yet my luck I'd loss a finger or something lol. And from what I've gathered online I kinda want everything all at once. Lol versatility I suppose so I have the option of power mode or Tc mode or mtl or dtl lol so if I wanna change it up I don't have to go get another mod and I'll def look into the ceramic coils online to see what they are about

Welcome, The setups mentioned are worth a look. If you are interested in battery life you may want to look at getting a cuboid mod (dual 18650 mod that is pretty small but heavy) see mooch for battery info. With 4 batteries and a charger you can chain vape yourself out of juice in no time. Myself i like the crown tank but it can be subjective. If you want ezpz the coolfire 100 tc kit comes with ss coils and is a no fuss no muss vape. I take mine with me to work every day. Super easy to fill change coils and can charge on my computer at work.
I only use the ss coils have no desire to try the others as i am happy with them. Oh please get a case for external batteries if you go down that route. Good luck and enjoy!

+1 for the coolfire option. I think it would be a nice upgrade and you wouldn't need anything with more power for some time.

I'm quitting TC as soon as I use up my factory coils (atomizer heads). It's been a painful and totally unsatisfactory experiment. TC is a genius invention but IMO the coil builders and high watt vapers are only the ones benefitting. I would recommend standard kanthal run way short of the max watt range. Most mods have TC now and you can try it but I wouldn't go crazy buying TC packs until you know they suit you.

Thank you again everyone and yes I kinda want a mod that does everything so I can experiment around with everything and find my happy place I've seen a few good priced mods that seem like they would do the job I guess what's left is finding a suitable tank and type of coil to go with both mtl and dtl hits if I want to change it up from time to time. Again just looking for my happy place with vaping since I really wanna stay away from cigarettes lol I can bearly stand walking behind someone who smokes now gags me out lol

You go for it! I vape 'boring' during the day (at work) and more varied at other times.
My daily tanks are gentle MTL ers. Aspire mini Nautilus, Eleaf GS tank (not the GS Air tank) and occasionally a Kayfun around 11 watts.

I keep trying to vape MTL on Subtanks (Nanos) and others of this type and can't do it at all!

Basically, I don't personally feel one tank can cover all the bases. I don't use mad tanks (50+ watts) but I have been known to dripper (RDA) at higher. It's all great fun.

..oh, and TC seems to be a disaster for me, as I said already.

I can do either dtl or mtl was just hoping to be able to switch it up now and again cause right now I'm stuck mtl on my endura and the taste is mute if I try to dtl (which I've done a few time not thinking) it taste horribly burnt I can't win lmfao Im going in to a shop on Friday to hopefully find something that suits me but that's also limited to what they have in stock wish there was a magic mod that could solve all my needs Lol

The T18 is great, don't waste your money. May I ask what juice you are buying and PG/VG? Flavour has more to do with your juice then your device. When people say it taste better with blah blah blah they mean cleaner or pure. The only way to get better flavour is by getting better juice. Most flavours are PG based and lose flavour with higher VG, I find 50/50 is much better then 30/70 and max VG is tasteless. Burnt taste sounds like your using to much VG or need to change your coil.

Brand new coil and 50 50 Atm thinking on making my own juice though. My friend has a different device and her juice taste great and I honestly prefer her kanger subtank I just wanna be able to switch between mtl and dtl draws too lol

When I owed a subtank mini had no problem doing both just used different coils and change the air flow.

Suggestions are always going to be biased.

With that said I'm not a huge fan of kanger. If budget wasn't an issue I would go with a mod that utilizes the evolve dna 200 or yihi sx350j v2 / sx450 chip.
