1: the cherryBOMBer is not a good idea for somebody who isn't sure of what they are doing.
2: Yes it matters if it doesn't have a screen. That's like driving at night without lights.
You did not mention what device/s you do have so not sure what to recommend;
but consider a sigelei, ipv, maybe
vapour shark is supposed to have a big price drop recently.

Sigelei 150W (reliable, cheap, I don't know anyone who has experienced problems),
Kanger Subox Mini Kit (highly recommend, all you need is batteries and juice and it's a full kit, ready to go for blowin' some nice clouds),
iStick 30W or 50W (cheap, small, good battery life, but might not have the wattage you need).
What kind of vaping do you usually do? What atomizers do you usually have? Do you prefer to chuck big clouds or are you a "tootle puffer" (no interest in clouds)?

Get a mod that suits your needs and then you could always wrap it with a "custom" wrap from J-Wraps.

There are lots of funky coloured mods with built-in chips. If you want Pink and clouds, try the MVP Pro. If you want Blue and less clouds, then maybe Coolfire 4.
If you don't need battery life the Coolfire is (cough, cough)... Cool.
