Hello all, long time lurker first time poster. I just got my first mechanical mod a week ago and have tried two different RDAs. Every draw I get juice popping up in to the drip tip and a slight amount will end up in my mouth and on the rim of the drip tip. Not too big a deal but aggravating none the least. Is this normal or is there a quick fix? Thanks for the help and now that im a member I hope to join in regularly. Smoke free for 3 days!

Happens on occassion to me still. Not so much that it is collecting on the drip tip however. Perhaps try getting your coils a little closer to the deck. Also I find depending on the RDA you are using some with larger top caps collect more condensation at the top which could be part of your problem.

Ok I will try to see if that helps. How do I post pics? I can show you my current setup.

It sounds like you may be dripping too much juice into your RDA.

Are you using silica or cotton/rayon? Only use enough to saturate the wick.

You can use a longer drip tip; the added length will make it less likely that e-liquid gets into your mouth.

I know when I first started dripping I was sure I was getting juice in my mouth because there would be so much flavor and my lips would numb slightly when I was chain vaping. Took me a while to realize it was more condensation from the vapor than actual juice and an insanely increased flavor in comparison to my previous PT2 setup. I've also come to notice that using drip tips with smaller bores will cause the vapor to concentrate at the tip and add to the condensation. Don't know if that's what you're experiencing, but it might be part of it.

You could be right but it spits up in to my mouth all the way up to the point I get a dry hit so I would think that to mean I can rule that out. I will get a longer tip if that's the only answer but the longer tip seems to be more cumbersome as far as carrying in the pocket and such. But im open to it :)

Somethings not right here... You get a dry hit? You might have a hot spot or hot leg or something going on.. If you've got enough juice on the cotton/in the well around the cotton that it's popping up into your mouth it shouldn't be giving you a dry hit.

But really what's being said doesn't make sense.

Thank you Warpigs! Its been easy since switching to a mech. Just really not enjoying the problem above lol. Some other info this is with a nemesis clone and a brand new RDA. I can't remember its name and can't find a way to post pics but its not top of the line by any stretch.

I just use a simple Silver Bullet. I fill a 5ml PBC Tank and vape. I'm not too savoy or informative when it comes to all the different things/mods. etc. Most of the time anyhow. Sometimes I can answer some questions if I had experience with it. I have never dripped.

Sorry I wasn't very clear there... after I've dripped and have taken a fair amount of hits to the point where its needing more juice its still popping juice up the drip tip. Maybe I used the term dry hit incorrectly but I meant to say that even when there is very little juice left the problem still occurs.

ah I get what you're saying.. What rda are you using? what size is the airflow? Is the airflow setup directly in front of the coil so you get the proper air going over it? Normally when hitting an rda the airflow kills most of the sputtering and popping so you don't get that effect.

Its all good the help Is still appreciated. I tried everytging to quit and what I really needed was the extra vapor to convince my mind that this was comparable to smoking so I GOT to fix this annoying issue lol.

I had the same problem when I started dripping. I feel like the more I build and the better my coils get the less splater and juice I get in my mouth. What rda are you using?
The name of the rda slips my mind. Can't figure out how to post a pic. :( I will say though that the best local shop we have here built the coils for me.

Not sure of the exact size but the local shop actually drilled out the stock air hole to make it plenty big enough for plenty of air flow at my request.

Oh and yes the air holes are right in front of both coils.... you can see them through each air hole
