What's up all.

Thinking about spending dat juicy tax return on a new mech/rda set-up.

I saw someone with a similar thread, so let me clear up any ambiguities.

I would prefer side-fired; I really like the Atmizoo Roller but research shows the VD is terrible.

Bottom-fired is acceptable. Wouldn't mind a King or Astro, preferably brass. Someone in the other thread posted a Stingray, which also looks pretty swell, but I failed to turn up any voltage-drop related queries.

As for the rda, I was looking at the Magma, but the lack of a third post bothers me. Then again, I've been building on an RM2 for months, so it shouldn't be too serious a problem. I do like the Zenith, though it depends which mod it's paired with.

My buddy loves his Patriot, but to me, it just looks like a souped up IGO-W at five times the price.

Any input is appreciated.

Thank you.

If voltage drop is a high priority... wonder over to Calivapers and take a look at jkuro's ever expanding test list.

Thanks for the direct link. I've seen bits and pieces.

I was interested in the Bay City Brass Surfrider but it's no longer available. As you can see, the Atmizoo's drop is terrible. If I could find a King Brass, I'd buy it in a second. It seems the second best option would be the brass Nemesis. Interestingly, the HCigar Brass Nemesis clone is pretty impressive, but if I'm gonna spend the money, I'm gonna spend the money.

If anyone can provide a link to a site that actually has Kings in stock, that would be awesome. Still need advice on the atty.

Edit: I found both a JA Victoria and Stingray for about the same price, and both have better VD than the King. Gonna have to sleep on this one.

You may want to take a look at the Poldiac made by MMVapors. I have two of these and the voltage drop is very minimum. The ones with the brass bodies do the best in the test. The side switch works great also.

This is one of the two that I have and it comes with the Rhodium over silver coated brass contacts and has the low ohm kit installed also.

They also have every part of it available for purchase if replacement parts are ever needed. The service and shipping top notch. Two day shipping from Greece to the eastern US.

Origin Dripper seems to be the go to easier to get dripper. Unless ur measuring, cause it's important, many of the mid-high end mechs have negligible diff in voltage drop. I personally don't chase that aspect of a mech tbh. Side firing, Dominus(sp?), GG's, Rollers, Touch, and plenty others. Lots of good stuff out there.

I can't speak to the Roller, but my Dingo has very minimal voltage drop... perhaps the least of any of my mods. Plus the button is BUTTER smooth, and it has far and away the nicest locking feature I've ever had the pleasure of using. Maybe you need a Dingo with some extension tubes? Telescoping mods tend to have a bit more voltage drop than solid tube mods.

As for RDA's, do you like your buddy's IGO-W? It won't be a flush fit (19ish? vs 22mm diameters) but for the price, I believe it's the best functioning RDA out there.

My buddy has a Patriot, I have an IGO-W, which I use with my Smoktech Natural. Interestingly enough, it is flush with the Natural, but not with my girlfriend's Grand Private Clone, which I believe is 22mm. The voltage drop on the Natural is awful though.

Has anyone used the Magma?

I meant "sits flush" with regards to the OD. If you do a bit of searching here about Natural mods (mostly taking all of the contacts to bare brass) I think you'll find it works quite nicely. I've got one that I top with my KFL+, and she hits great, even as old and abused as she is.

Well, perhaps I'll give that a try. I've done a bit of sanding, but there's still a pretty significant amount of nickel(?) on the pins. I'm in no rush. I've been using my Reo Grand lately, and don't get me wrong - I love it, especially after modding the crap out of it. I was running a 0.2Ω coil and my voltage drop was less than 0.4, which is fantastic. Regrettably, I keep on damaging it in one way or another, and having to send it away for repairs. Again, I'm in no rush to spend $300 or $400. Thanks for the tip.

Edit: I'm leaning towards the NZonic Brass mod by the way, or a Stingray if I can find one in stock. Still clueless as to the atomizer to go with it.

You mentioned the Stingray, that's a very nice mod and while it's around $200, it's complete in that it supports whatever battery size.

As for a dripper, it depends a lot on what you are looking for. The Origen dripper is a great choice, versatile in that it not only can support single and dual coils but has has air holes specifically for each so your single coil isn't blown out with two holes. It's also nice looking. The v2 should be out soon which is a little shorter and has a unified juice well.

Lots of nice things and those are just two that I think it would be hard for anyone to be disappointed with.
