I have been cig free for going on 4 days, the longest I have ever made it in 17+years of smoking. I smoked my last cig unwrapping my shiny new Bombshell Stinger. It's been kind of steep learning curve so far but I'm finely starting to feel comfortable reaching for my mod instead of a cig. The transition so far has been a little weird, I have discovered that a lot of flavors I used to like are not so great anymore. I probably should of waited before I bought a bunch of juice flavors until my taste buds settled down. A lot of flavors that I thought I would like or liked at first are being gifted to friends who vape. Man! and stink!, I don't know how my wife (non-smoker) put up with me! I just spent two hours detailing the inside of my car trying to get some of the stink out. My wife and kids are walking on egg shells around me and waiting for the melt down but so far so good, the vape is definitely helping keep me sane and from spazzing out. Anyways reading these forums definitely gave me the nudge I needed to kick the smokes. Thank you all!

Great job and welcome aboard... funny what you say about the family... because my wife, having dealt with me during numerous prior attempts at quitting with other methods, has been nothing short of amazed at how e-cigs have gotten me off cigarettes without a major meltdown...lol... prior meltdowns with other methods took as little as a few hours but certainly no longer than 2-3 days...haha!!

had a few grumpy days during my first month of vaping, but nothing as intense as before... and i was still manageable to be around...lol. But after 5 months now... im happy to say i'm stable!! lol.

Good job to you!! we all know how 4 days smoke-free can be an eternity! but keep it up and you'll be cig free before you know it!! For what its worth... after about a month or two.. i actually stopped counting how long i had quit for... cuz i was DONE!! I'm sure you'll feel the same at some point... whether that's a week or a month for you.... great job! one day at a time!!

Hello & welcome! Sounds like you're off to a great start! Word of caution though...hold on to some of those juices you don't think you like. Odds are that they may just need to steep but your taste buds are about to go through hell now that you're not smoking at all. Lol! What you hate now you just might love in a couple of weeks! A juice that I thought that I loved when I started I now hate & one that sat around for about 2 months after testing it out & deciding that I hate now has its own tank! I don't know how anyone put up with us as smokers! I bet they're soooo proud of you!

Welcome and congrats, I haven't had a stinky in 1 month and by now I really don't miss them. Even after only one month, I find that my
taste for different juices goes back and forth, so I agree with Chimney34, hang on to those juices for awhile and give them a try later. Please don't forget to drink plenty of water, helps with the detox and vaping dehydrates you. Hang in there!!!
