I have been vaping for almost 3 years now and I am absolutely in love with everything vape. I just watched your review of the Kylin Mini v2 on YouTube a couple days ago. I needed advice on the wicking, and you had a different technique, the rose cut. I liked it, tried it, and it did help a little.
Still need to perfect it for myself, that tank isn't giving me burnt hits but still seems dry or less flavorful than expected to me.

I have to ask are you cutting your coil legs to the suggested hight? The hight and wicking are super important in this RTA and I also need to ask what type of ejuice you use and what atty do you usually use the ejuice in?

I've only had the Kylin 2 about a week and a half, still learning with it.
I have been using the 7mm slot on the leg guide, three different coils so far - a couple higher mass more complicated pre-wrapped coils and one mixed twisted, all around .3 to .35. The mixed twisted coil was 2.5id and the other two larger coils were 3mm id. The different coils tasted great if I drip a few drops of liquid directly on the coil, so I think the problem is the wicking.
The juice I use is high vg DIY, a few different flavors, a little over 80%vg. Not going to change that for a tank...
Two other rtas I'm using frequently and enjoy are a Zeus X dual coil with mixed twisted coils at .2ish I run around 65 watts and a Wotofo Serpent SMM single coil (4 core fused clapton) about .25 I run at 36 watts. Airflow wide open on both. Same juice in any given tank.
I'm on day 3 with the rose cut wicking in the Kylin, and it's not doing too bad actually, but If I take 2 drags in less than a minute, the second one is not as flavorful and more "dry". Don't have any issues with the other two tanks I mentioned.
